I always have a hard time falling asleep if I'm exposed to light. I use a blue light filter for my laptop and light bulbs that block out blue light. It makes a huge difference for me. Lowbluelights.com has them but I've been able to find cheaper alternatives on Amazon.

Use a blue light filter screen for your computer. I use one every night.
