$220 million to make this turd, and all the fanboy buzz in the world is not going to alter the fact that more people just plain can’t afford to go to a theatre to watch it, and are already paying for a streaming service so....see you in a couple of months. With better cheaper popcorn.

I laughed when I saw the pictures of New York in orange, and Adams saying that ‘climate change is here’...I’ve been dealing with this for years. I live pretty much smack dab in the middle of this shitstorm, a go-bag by the door, kennels for the furbies, a rendezvous map and extra Jerry-cans. A couple of years ago, it

This is hilarious: Samsung, the company that never met a patent it didn’t want to violate, gets hijacked by their arch nemesis the Chinese.

I’m shocked this wasn’t an episode of “Maury”.

It’s a case of who it makes money FOR. $300 M sounds, believe it or not, low for a TC MI pic, and the part 1 thing makes me think this might be the last one. Sturios will get 95% if thge box office for the first 6 weeks, I’d think, of any of those movies, and the theatres make their bones off coke and corn.

It’s been one hell of a long road since the Carter administration’s DOE and NASA proposed launching football-field-sized solar arrays to transmit power back to earth to break the Arab oil cartels. Electric cars were seen as a totally-do-able thing then.

THAT’S his LAWYER???? I could have told you he was fucked the minute he walked into the courtroom just looking at that guy.

You have not been in an abusive relationship, obviously, or perhaps, you’re the abuser.

So what I’m reading here is that in some cases, femicide has an UPside.

Jenson strikes me as an Elon wannabe. The clothes, the haircut, the overbearing presence...and yet nobody outside of the tech world knows who he is.

Hepburn was pissed that a movie she was helping to produce was being used as a vehicle for Jane and her dad to work out some parental issues which was kind of bringing down the set. Which, oddly enough, is what “On Golden Pond” was about, really.

Yeah. Ain’t it great? I’ll get the popcorn, the Goobers are free!

“If they knew a tenth of what Matt and I know about the globe they would be Flat Earthers.”

In a busy pattern like any major city, no one has time for that. The message goes out either from the plane or ATC and you get a quick mic click or an abbreviation of the aircraft call-sign or sometimes nothing at all.

Wow Elon vs. Satya...it’s like watching two girls who dumped you fight. In some ways you don’t care, in some ways. it’s awesome.

Because they’re expensive. Average PC buyers are not as fanatical about their machines as Mac users are, and the UX is mostly the reason why. When was the last time there was anything in Windows to get excited about?

I’ve read most of Issacson’s books, and they’re problematic from the standpoint that he becomes involved with the subject. Fatally so. The last half of the book on Jennifer Doudna was almost unreadable, and should have been a second book on its own.

Just 40 hours a week? He’s slippin’!

...and by the way, WHAT space race?

I can’t see him having the attention span to watch “Hidden Figures” in the first place, unless they were showing it on a flight to Cancun.
