Shrug and move on.
Shrug and move on.
It must be nice to be so privileged and hope for something so simple.
Given your response to the other person in this thread, I think you pose an interesting question. Would I have felt better if Hillary had won? No. You’re right—racists are still, would still be, have always been in our midst. Trump didn’t invent the attitudes that have gained popularity and won him the election. His…
If Hillary had won instead, also by the slimmest of margins, would you truly feel safe and calm knowing that 49% didn’t vote for her and those people are in your midst?
Your comfort is not worth my silence.
I’d rather vote for someone who’s at worst slightly shady then an outright fascist like Trump.
So basically you’re suggesting that the only role gaming critics should serve is as de facto propaganda machines for the publishers?
I understand your frustration. At least you’re not wallowing in the hyperbole of Ben Kuchera.
I understand very much that people want to see themselves represented in the media they consume, but I can’t really get behind fans dictating to creators how to shape their output.
Name me a major concert that isn’t sponsored by one brand or another.
Name me a major concert that makes you buy the sponsored product before you can watch the full concert.
Don’t ever pay to be marketed to.
To be fair, your comment comes across (only speaking for myself) as a “duh, you didn’t know about this?”. Text and intentions are difficult to gauge on here.
This certainly has been the October Suprise that keeps on giving.
I DID play it again, I play it often because its a great game. The HD collection on PS3/360 is an awesome pack.
I get that, but I see significant flaws with the Sonic games. It’s not that I just don’t enjoy the play, I do to some extent, but the game seems to be working against itself to give the player reasons to play it. Mario games tend to be very well-crafted to suit the style of play that it’s going after.
Haha, yeah the Previously Recorded guys at RLM did a video about Sonic which talks about a lot of problems with the game and they apparently got slammed for it, too. I just don’t understand why people defend these games so strongly. Play them today, and they’re just not that good.
Man don’t even try. I’ve given the same argument and people just say “no you’re wrong, that’s how it’s supposed to be”.
Well two things that were genuinely good about it were that it was a) unlike anything else that had been made
And everyone who now comes and says “That’s how the gaming industry works, you can’t do it any other way” and the other usual bullshit, please be reminded of this study published last year in The Lancet
