Anyone know if they export?
My husband thinks onions are horrible and that I should leave them out of anything I make (e.g. stews, stir-fries, etc) - mostly because he’s had stomach upset from onions that were undercooked.
This company ships its onions outside the USA (the “International” is a bit of a hint possibly), so this isn’t just relevant to Americans. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has posted a food recall warning of Thomson International Inc’s onions right here.

Since I don’t have kids - or kid-related things like the nifty wading pool above - I need some specific tips on how to do this.
It’s not just that - if you check the article that it links to, it’s equally insubstantial. You’d have to follow links from that article in turn to figure out if this subject is even worth exploring. I thought the point of this site was to save readers that trouble...
So-o-o if you live in an apartment building or condominium, let’s say on the top floor... you should shelter in your washroom (because it’s typically the one inner room without a window to the outside)? Or should you hike down to the ground level and cower in the lobby? Or in a stairwell maybe? Given that most…
I’m assuming a tornado would just suck you right out of there.
I don’t use this for cereal boxes and such, because I have reusable containers for those.
Thanks for your comment! Your Greek salad sounds fantastic. I’m in Canada so I can’t snarfle the specific brands you mentioned, but we have everything else up here and I’m pretty sure I could mock up something similar with what’s available locally. (I just wish I could get you out of the greys :)
We live in an apartment with no air conditioning, so at this time of year we’re emphasizing salads and assorted cold picnicky foods. Salads always involve some kind of base - often baby spinach mixed with arugula, then proteins (deli meat, cubed cheese, and/or chopped hard-boiled eggs) and a variety of other things.…
I was wondering this, too.
Not an option for those of us who rent an apartment, dude...
I’m surprised Trump didn’t claim the Montreal Cognitive Assessment was inherently too hard because it’s Canadian.
Canadian Blood Services (formerly run by the Canadian Red Cross) is still very strict. Their rules, for anyone who’s curious, around the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, Variant (vCJD/Mad Cow) — and note they don’t base it on diet or anything! Admittedly a vegetarian might have ingested a gelatin capsule at some point, but…
Oh, me too. And I was strictly vegetarian at the time, too, except for one Christmas meal where I couldn’t avoid accepting a small amount of beef :( I hadn’t realized it would put paid to donating blood again (up until then I’d done so every chance I could). Such a pity, too, as I’ve got all this yummy O-positive...
That was actually quite refreshing.
My favourite drinking vessel — a vintage champagne glass. Totally impractical, it sloshes when you look at it. But I adore it.
