Mike working on cars did my head in! One episode especially comes to mind. He was mocking up gauges in the old honda, and splicing two clusteres together. It was just getting interesting, and then they just cut to the finished product installed. Why? I wanted to see exactly how he plastic welded that panel and got the

Cheap chinese ebay bushings.

Nice to see Huxley getting some exposure here! He definately stands out in the scene!

Rob Parsons (chairslayer) drifts a manual car completely on handcontrols.

The mice Triumphed! I guess you got to replace the entire harness?

No, no, sir. I’d say you’ve strayed a little now. Those little rodents do their best work in british sports cars, helping the smoke escape from Lucas finest works of electro-spaghetti. Ferrari tends to set fire to their heat shields. Just to be extra speciale.

Why is that bad? If it survived 175.000 miles, you know it’s not going to catch fire. It’s proven itself. Much like tribes put their young to a test to be men, a Ferrari must survive a certain amount of miles withut burning to the ground to prove itself as a legendary sports car. The ones who burn aren’t worthy.

I used to own a Lincoln mk III. For some reason, Lincoln thought it’d be a great idea to run the hydraulic wiper motor off the power steering pump.

Well, that looks lovely!

This one is particulary saddening to me, as I grew up watching the Group B cars dominating the European Rallycross Championship here.

thats the “driveway” there was a story on it somewhere here on Jalopnik a few years ago.

It’s broke. And now they’ve put it in the blender.

500÷3?

Late too the party because of time zones and stuff, but I’ll have a little rant anyway!

I assume he became a Canadian citizen when his family originally emigrated. As such there might be some rights he want to keep. After all, being canadian offers some more social benefits, like free healthcare. I don’t know how many rights Canadians retain living in another country, but that might be a reason.

Greenwood and Eckler did kits like these, yes. Looks similar to racing corvettes of the era.

I should probably be singing Motorheads “broken” -_-
