I’m here to add to chorus of people saying that setting it up beforehand is a terrible idea. Setting up your new... anything, is half of the excitement of getting a new thing. It’s part of the process. Maybe you like to just have an opened box ready to play, but you shouldn’t recommend that people do it as standard

Seriously. Let people enjoy their stuff fresh. It’s part of the experience. Unless it’s a little kid or person who literally can’t set it up themselves... don’t.
