I’m going to show my age here and say that Trish at the end reminded me of D-Fens at the end of Falling Down:

The movie Sneakers, which is an underrated classic that I absolutely love, had a character named Werner Brandes, played by Steven Tobolowsky, whose daily habits made Robert Redford’s character call him “The world’s most boring human.”

That is the GIF every hockey fan outside of New England has been waiting for.

sweet, delicious schadenfreude

a gift for you

Laffs fan here. Watching Marchand have a defensive aneurysm at the end of the first resulting in the second goal, then losing the game, then crying on the bench, then crying at the press conference....I feel like WE won the cup as well.
I feel warm, I feel fuzzy, and my outlook on life is rosy.

Thank you St. Louis.

Your book will be an all time worst seller.

Bruins, especially Chara, definItely committed the most non-called penalties in fucking NHL playoff history. Sit the fuck down or go cry somewhere else.

Read/Listen to the book Masters of DooM. it’s exactly what you need.

The contrarian take that Phil Kessel has proved the doubters wrong is so far off the mark. Phil Kessel has had exactly the kind of career scouts imagined/feared he’d have when he was up for the draft. Gare Joyce’s amazing book “Future Greats and Heartbreaks” covers this well. Well, I made the mistake of twitter searching the joke. While all the examples in this article made me giggle, the morons jumping on the bandwagon are pretty fucking awful.

I don’t think the earnest enthusiasm (the first few words of the tweet) is the issue here. His claim that the shot should be taught (??) in any film studies class is a bit silly and perfectly worthy of some tame, mild mockery.

All I can tell you is that after scrolling through all of these I was cry-laughing.  Maybe because I’m overtired, but sometimes repetitious Twitter idiocy humor really works for me.

I will stan Pysch for life, let us all find Jules a worthy successor.

Yeah, Dude, she was like a Brett Easton Ellis character. “There is a dragon systematically dismantling my keep, murdering my Citizen-hostages, and killing my soldiers, and I can’t be bothered to give a fuck. There is a sign over my privy that reads: This too shall pass, and I cannot tell if I am laughing or crying as

I’d at least partially disagree on the offsides. If they’re offsides and score immediately upon entering the zone on a fast break, then sure.

Considering one is an early 30s dancer/singer/entertainer/performer and one is a late 50's dance/singer/entertainer/performer I’d say it’s a safe bet Paula was one of her heroes and getting necked by a hat on livish TV probably was an award.  At least it wasn’t Kung Lao.
