Because Epic doesn’t like to share.
Really? Abby’s the one that kicks off this mess when she decides to club Joel to death after he and his brother SAVE HER LIFE? After Owen’s like ‘yoouuuu know what maybe this isn’t a good idea. They got a lot of people, my girl’s pregnant, I want him dead but maybe not at the potential cost of all the lives we care…
I’m still not entirely convinced I survived the second one. It is a distinct possibility that I have, in fact, died and gone to hell.
The Last of Us 2 should be a post-apocalyptic Pony Express meets Oregon Trail adventure game. You and your trusty steed navigate ruined infrastructure while dodging the occasional fungus zombie, combat being optional in this fantasy of mine, all to deliver some small innocuous package from one bombed-out part of the…
And I’d never kinkshame you for it. :)
I actually really liked the first one until the end soured it for me. I was hoping for better with 2 and i’m a sucker for a good story. TLOU2 isn’t a good story but it was compelling as hell. Enough to make me go ‘let me finish this’. But by the end some of the choices made had me begging ‘please END IT PUT ME OUT OF…
“This would be great if it wasn’t what it actually is” seems to me an overly elaborate rationalization of trying and failing to like something because everyone else is talking about it.
I’m coming up on a birthday later this month and the older I get, the more the entire month of July becomes a reflection on making the…
iirc, even Trent ceded Johnny’s version as superior and basically said “It’s his now”. Yeah, here’s the direct quote: “Tears started welling up,” Reznor said. “I realized it wasn’t really my song anymore. It just gave me goose bumps up and down my spine. It’s an unbelievably powerful piece of work.”
“I played a video game today...”
As long as they don’t expect us to still shell out $60 for a shorter experience, I’m all for it.
Abby herself isn’t very likeable either, so I agree. It’s hard to sympathise with Abby when she comes off as a hypocrite and the fact that she is an emotionally cold killer. Ellie practically forces herself to keep doing what she’s doing out of some small hope that it’d make her feel better, after being influenced…
Um... You’re obviously not playing the game... Abby isn’t trans at all, people just assumed she was the trans character.
The reviews i get from my friends is that the game is awesome and unlike anything else, just really dark at a time in all our lives when a bit of optimism might’ve been more welcome. The impression i get is the negative reviews come from the review bombers upset about their fictitious anti-”SJW” agenda and people who…
Given the general reactions I’ve seen around the net the last 24 hours, I don’t think that’s the case this time. I also don’t think it’s purely homophobes or gamergaters either. The first game resonated emotionally with a lot of people and it’s hard to watch characters you grew to love outright suffering.
As a data scientist/statistician , I really don’t understand the hatred for Metacritic. Averages can be a good way to orient oneself when exploring data and trying to understand an underlying process. It’s only the first step but it’s still a useful metric. The problem occurs when people rely too much on one number…
The user scores on Metacritic have always been worthless. Ideally there should be a way to link your PlayStation/Xbox/Nintendo/Steam account to show you actually own the game on your account and have at least an hour or two played.
Why they thought spending half the game as Abby and her dull crew was a good idea... I will never know. Terrible. Just terrible.
well i don’t think so. MGS1 and MGS5 are. Even though I hated the twist in MGS5. But I thought MGS2 was ok, but the slog of a story just weighs it down so much these days. Raiden is so whiny, Octagon still has not grown as a character. Snake was still the most interesting part and he was not playable. Raiden…
Man feels like some of the shit Kojima pulled with MGS2 by having Snake be in the scenes where you actually play as Raiden. I hated Raiden in that game, I came in this expecting to play as a certain character, partly by my love for the first game and from what was shown in the pre release marketing. Looks like ND…
