More fascinating? Final Fantasy XIV came out as a shitty game and not only got turned around into a great game with some of the most direct developer/community interaction you’ll find anywhere but when the new version of the game came out it was given to existing players absolutely free and discounted for new players.

I haven’t tried Mad Max yet, though, for the record. This is just in general.

The game is exactly what I expected it to be. A mad max game. On top of that I love how it is a prequel to the movie.

I avoided review and bought it anyways. It’s a total blast so far and I actually really like it. Steam user reviews are overwhelmingly positive right now as well. Reviews are subjective so there is nothing “wrong” with Chris’s view, but I couldn’t disagree more. Great game so far.

This is exactly what Kotaku and Konami want you to think! ;)

Erm, I’m guessing you don’t play the game. The community is doing fantastic, as is the game. It’s going F2P to introduce new players into the game and then interest them enough to buy HoT.
