I legit think it will be great, but I also LOVE the source material. The book they’re taking the main “bad” from is SO great in that book: shoot, the whole book is incredible. So I am cautiously optimistic. 

Doesn’t this also disregard the fact that said group is much more willing to go for help for these issues? As a Gen Xer who refuses said help himself, it’s pretty clear they are MUCH better at getting help.

The problem with the data is we’ve only really started to be able to ‘mine’ it over the last 20 years or so. You have very incomplete data and generations (like mine: I’m an Xer) who were raised to not admit to weaknesses and would skew the logic.

I can’t give you enough upvotes for accurate you are. He’s always been great, but in the McBride Universe he absolutely shines. When I saw him in Vice Principals I had my doubts and they were completely demolished by how brilliantly funny he is.

Kristen Johnson’s face when they go to the Sunday Mass is perfect: the look of both awe and disgust at the spectacle the Gemstones have made of what (to her) should be a solemn and God driven wervice compared to what she’s looking at is great.
