I’d like to think the origin story for the cult is a dull one, like a bunch of folks reading Satanic literature and going “Hey, you want to form a group and worship this guy and see how it’s going?”

Holy shit the Ducky boys freaked me out as a kid when I first saw this...

Shoot, we knew about him in the suburbs of Lawn Guyland. And yet now he’s absolutely beloved in the redder parts of said Island. It’s crazy because I remember when everyone out here hated him. And now I get to see Trump flags, yard signs and what not everywhere.

Depends what you’re looking for. If you’re into say crazy exploitation films, it’s probably going to be an edited cut. But by and large, the cuts are are really good.

That’s what I do (it also works for Hulu which cracks me up).

It’s SO much better than the Drafthouse anyway....I haven’t been in a while but now I have an excuse to go.

I came for Newsradio references and I was rewarded richly...

I like Michael Pare in almost everything EXCEPT “Streets of Fire”. I can’t stand his performance, it’s just...I don’t know.

The Fabulous Stains! I love that movie, and I can remember seeing it on Night Flight and (like you said) falling in love with Diane Lane instantly.

It’s OKAY, but not as good as the Venture Bros spoof on Scooby and the gang...

Like I can pick one album. I will say that I tend to like the “Let It Be” and “Tim” era (and love the early hardcore/punk stuff) more than I like the later, almost Paul W solo stuff.

I agree about scientology. I meant more just taking roles, but I also saw someone said that John K said something like we should cherish and thank the CIA and that’s a bit much.

UGH...didn’t see that part. Okay, he’s a tool and I stand corrected

“CIA shill” - someone should have told Brando way back when not to shill for the Mafia, for Al Pacino not to shill for the few honest cops, and don’t get me started on that Audie Murphy guy.

That and “Monster A-Go Go”, “Fire Maidens from outer space” and of course “Hamlet” are the ones that truly cause “Deep Hurting”

You take that back about Manos right now before I get THE MASTER here to have a word with you.

FINALLY. About time us white guys got a fair break.

Fellow MST3k fan, and this is SO true. There’s nothing better than seeing a producer/director credit for Roger Corman during an MST3k or Rifftrax episode.
