I grew tired of your post within the first line. The guy wins awards for his journalism and work. Your entitled to your opinion, but you really think someone watching Mutual of Omaha (with Jack Perkins! which I know from MST3K) in 1970 is his audience?

Holy cow, I do remember that and you’re right: the only difference being Garth Marenghi is clearly, clearly delusional as fuck. But when you got a buddy like Dean Learner on your side, you can make your dreams come true.

Nope - he legit gained that. I remember reading an interview with him. Plus that was not a big budget film so...

Stephen...

God I love Garth Marenghi. Although I never thought it was a spoof on hospitals as much as the schlocky late 80's TV horror offerings, with the brilliant concept of a talent-less horror writer who produces his own show on no budget.

I can’t pick a favorite of any of them, cause to me they each have a very different personality. The first is definitely more horror but has comedy in it: the second goes hard into the comedy but has a lot of fun gore:and the third to your point goes medieval. Like my three daughters, I legit think you can love each

I see I’m late, but let me pile on and say it’s a fun, breezy read. Campbell clearly knows how to make fun of himself and it has a lot of great behind the scenes info as well.

I don’t see the issue at all, and you guys need to stop piling on...

Look at it this way once those folks are gone:

They need a movie where Jared Leto is killed repeatedly throughout it.

“I’m almost Anthony Quinn”

I’m with you on Halloween over Nightmare. I don’t like the Zombie films (opinion - I think he’s a shoddy hack and his takes on them add nothing but wasting Malcolm McDowell) but the first THREE Halloweens are pretty great (I’ll shout my love of the insane mess that is “Silver Shamrock!”) and the David Gordon Green

“It continues by stating that “Warhol and the Factory built toward a mass-production of art, equivalent to consumer goods.”

“What kind of idiot actually thinks that just because someone you don’t like enjoys something then that makes it bad?”

Look, I get my kicks above the waistline sunshine...

Blurst. Also, all I can think of is MST3K and “Did I mention I’m from Italy”

I don’t even think the first “Scream” is that good or original. There was a film that came out before it called “There’s Nothing Out There” (or something like that) that Scream definitely borrows from.

Maybe I’m out of the loop, but why do folks hate Joan Rivers now? I always thought of her as a Don Rickles sort, kind of an equal opportunity offender...

I agree, but that’s how I feel about most John Hughes films though so...

The second Psycho film though is a LOT better than you’d think. I kind of get your point, but also Maniac Cop 2 is literally 25% recycled scenes. Granted you get Larry “King” Cohen for film three if memory serves.
