I like the cut of your gibe. As an overall franchise I’d also go the Prom Night route. Other than some choice moments in the first two films and the club scene in the third one I’ve always thought the Hellraiser series was a bit over-rated.

USA Up All Night was great going back to the 80's. That show and “Night Flight” were huge in the 80's as ways to get pop culture that wasn’t generic bland John Hughes fare (in the suburbs anyway)

That was the first time I’ve ever seen “What’s That Name” and holy shit that is both incredibly funny and makes a LOT of great points.
