I am adding it to my list of life goals to be a Surprise Woman.
I am adding it to my list of life goals to be a Surprise Woman.
Read this headline as David Attenborough. “A group of male executives is milling around the fallen Weinstein Co. But, what’s this? In the underbrush, a surprise woman has found the kill.”
Calvin is not freckly or knobbly enough. It’s been bothering me, and I don’t care how petty it is.
I’d say plenty of cases deserve the death penalty, but deserve isn’t really what the criminal justice system should be about. I mean, read up on who Ted Bundy was. Or John Wayne Gacy. Or any number of really, really horrible people. Those guys absolutely deserved what they got. The question of whether we are better…
I don’t agree with the death penalty. Far too many innocent people have been murdered by the state to allow that process to continue, regardless of the crimes or obvious guilt. It’s tough to maintain that belief when I see people like Dylann Roof, or Charles Manson.
No. There is no case that deserves the death penalty because actions don’t happen in a vacuum. Using the death penalty on that guy will inevitably result in using it on an innocent at some point, especially with how fucked up forensic science is.
“Everybody gets a tesseract!”
As far as the photo, I mostly agree with you - it doesn’t look to me like he actually touched her, but instead was just aiming for “hey look, I’m pretending like I’m going to grope this unconscious woman against her will, HA HA SO FUNNY.” It’s disgusting, offensive, and incredibly disrespectful towards her, but if he…
Maybe we shouldn’t depend on oil so much.
Also Trudeau.
XL stands for eXtra Leaky.
What the hell is wrong with that book? Every single thing you do will hurt/kill your baby. Stress constantly! (Except stress will hurt/kill your baby, so don’t.)
I’m glad you did! That book is such a fear-mongering piece of garbage.
SHAMEY. Yes. It was such bullshit - I mean, the question/answer format is helpful for shit like pregnancy, but it was all “should I be worried that I’m not worried about being too worried?” Ugh, fuck that forever.
As quack-y as Dr Sears is, I found his book to be MUCH more accessible. Some of the postponing vax and…
In fairness, it is like arguing over a punch to the left side or the right side of your face. I’d prefer neither.
She is happily married and has kids with her husband. She’s speaking about the experience of being an actor and how connected she was to that character. Fischer has an effusive personality. I understand what she was saying, but people want it to mean that she’s totally in love with krasinski. She’s not.
I read it differently than everyone else - I read that he felt bad for the reaction she was getting from fans, not that he felt bad that she felt like a part of her and a part of him loved each other. He’s an actor, he totally gets what she meant. She also said in that interview that the real her and the real Jim are…
Yeah, I mean Jon Stewart is such a strong advocate for women. Just look at the roster of writers for his show over 16 years and look at all the opportunities created for women.
Yes! I’ve re-watched The Office a lot over the years and my conclusion is that Jim is a bully who uses his ‘aw shucks’ looks to get out of shit. And the actor made a conscious decision to star in that fucking Benghazi movie FFS.
