If I had a nickel for every handy I got in high school to Losing Streak, I’d be rich.

On work days, same breakfast almost every morning while I drive to work: A bagel with cream cheese, 2 pickled eggs (homemade), hot tea, and a La Croix.

Love me some car camping too! Nothing tastes better than bacon and eggs cooked in a caste iron pan over campfire. Bacon burned in some places, under in others. Eggs slippery from being fried in the bacon grease. A few flecks of stray ash for flavor. Mmmmmm hmmmm.

Power lifting.

I agree 100% about instant, but we take it on backpacking trips in the Tetons. I can tell you nothing tastes so good as that first cup when you drag yourself out of the tent into the chilly mountain air.

A guy I work with refers to coffee that tastes like this as “church basement coffee”. I love the turn of phrase, and use it regularly.

No way. I know nothing about snooker, but that video makes me want to know more. That series of shots makes my drunken attempts at pool like... ... ... drunken attempts at pool?

My only two beefs (or is it beeves?) with Nadal:

What’s your racquet of choice, Giri?

That made me grimace...rolled ankles give me the willies.

Feel free to demonstrate. I’ve offered a compelling argument based on facts. Which you obviously realize, since you chose not to address any of the points in favor of sarcasm.

I’ll just leave this here: “I pity your employer, he hired a fool.”

I’ve been lifting consistently for 20 years, mixed between gym and at home. I think the concept is really cool, but my opinion is it’s a far better value to pick up a bench, bar, set of weights, and a couple of screw lock dumbbells for maximum flexibility. Might even cost less for a quality setup if you catch a good

At the expense of boring everyone else on this thread with our rock fight, what do you do? Your takes seem pretty simplistic/naive and juvenile, so I’m guessing college student or early career professional.

Counterpoint: I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile a few years ago.

You’re right. Cable companies are aided and abetted by the government. Eliminate the legalized monopolies, and competition will appear. Also, pretty sure you have the choice of multiple wireless carriers where you live. Cable is regulated FAR heavier than wireless carriers. Pretty clear which industry has more

Why not. Also, please feel free to outline your own technical qualifications.

I’ve read it. I understand it. It’s well written. Net neutrality is a huge sledgehammer of a solution looking at a finishing nail of a problem.

You can’t give a tax break to people who don’t pay taxes. Because they don’t pay taxes. In fact, I’m in favor of giving people who pay no taxes a 99% tax cut, as it will have zero impact on the deficit.

Good comment. I’m with you except for the EITC.
