on top of that you can basically control weather and time of the day
This whole argument is moot. If it were less expensive to shoot on location then that’s what they’d do. Obviously it’s not.
Sending a couple dozen people thousands of miles away. Shipping all their equipment. Getting any permits or what not with the local area and fees to put everything on hold in that area while you’re filming. Hotel and food for all those people etc etc...It gets pricey, pretty fast.
Lo and Beowulf didst sayeth unto Grendel, “Thou lookest pretty hot for a monster thine age. Let us drinketh some meade and copulate until dawn!”
Too bad about those roads and public school funding though.....
Also, the Alexander vs Persia thing kinda ended with him ending the Persian empire. How does that work in a prequel?
Okay, I know the comic isn’t even remotely historical but how can Alexander the Great be in a *prequel* when he was born over a hundred years later?
I’m sure that Miller will handle this historical subject with the deft, light touch that has characterized his work in the last couple decades.
It’s simple. Nobody is going to take a drill seriously unless you say “this is not a drill.”
“Wow after all these months I’m finally going to see the finished product!”
I want to offer a sincere, unironic thank you for this post.
Are we referring to NBA2K in this story?
So many typos.
Reddit does something right for once.
Next time they should hire some auteur who doesn’t care if anyone watches his movie or not. Preferably a French person who always wears a beret and smokes with a cigarette holder.
