Yeah, despite EA’s overall rep their customer service is very good in my experience. I wanted to merge some accounts one time, set up a call on their website, and they called me within minutes. They then worked with me on the phone to get what I wanted set up.

I’m all for people criticizing video games. what I don’t like is when those critics are going into dev studios and telling them to change stuff in their games. effectively telling the developer to self censor anything that they don’t approve of.

Took her 5 years and $160,000 (not including any donations received after Kickstarter) to deliver what amounts to 16 critiques of Lets Play footage of video games on YouTube.

That’s because it’s a system seller, as in: the only game worth buying for switch.

There were a few articles here and there, but generally the Tales games in general have a much smaller Western audience, so it doesn’t gain as much traction. Also, I don’t remember off hand, but did they come out and publicly threaten an entire industry of entertainers for streaming / showing the game?

Huh, after playing KOF this year, this seems a little light on the character roster. 6 DLC characters too? Er, I kinda feel like Capcom is going to pull another SF5.

Here’s to hoping it’s a good game, I was pretty dissappointed with SFV, especially in regards to feature set and nickel-and-diming features.

Isn’t all this shit pretty much completely staged?

Not everyone pirates games if they did sales wouldnt be so high and it would had been more of an issue

Don’t care. Really, really don’t care in this instance. And, frankly, it seems silly to focus on that when the actual story is one person threatening to ruin another person’s livelihood, and making the problem of believing sexual assault victims more difficult in the process.

Y’know, Ghost in the Shell Arise, The New Movie and Solid State Society were a lot worse than the live-action film. Suffer from similar issues, actually, just in an even bigger capacity.

I’ll have to see who the writer is.

Worth noting for anyone who doesn’t know - if you’re interested at all in the technical details behind your favorite pastime, Digital Foundry are the bomb.

I hope you understand the implications of the idea that media outlets shouldn’t report on any ethically or legally dubious goings-on

Eh, I dunno about that. The whole reason I bought and played Persona 4, and will be buying and playing Persona 5, is that I watched Jeff and Vinny from Giant Bomb play through P4, and thought it looked like a great time. Before their Endurance Run, I’d never even heard of the franchise, much less considered that it

Well, for starters, the game has been out in Japan for months. If people want to be spoiled, they’ll be spoiled. (From what I hear, Twitter users and YouTube commenters are doing their best to spoil everyone regardless.)

First they release a shitty deluxe edition of it. Then they overprice the fuck out of the DLC. They they give the anime OVA to Aniple of America who, like all their other products, make it the dumbest fucking decision to spend money on. Now, they treat streamers (a rather great source of revenue for game companies)

I gave them crap about this on twitter and someone responded to the tweet with story spoilers.

This is nuts - During the Giantbomb AMA, Jeff Gerstmann mentioned that he was glad they didn’t plan on a P5 endurance run because Atlas was crazy about the streaming / let’s play stuff. Considering their P4 endurance run was one of the best things to ever happen to that game, it seems like Atlus learned all the wrong

Once again Valve asking people to “volunteer” to do a job that they themselves should be hiring people to do.

The Master Sword breaks.

I love when developers scream that there’s no market in PC games for them when all they do is release shoddy ports of unoptimized garbage that no one wants to pay for.
