Both of those are really nice.  As an owner of Wolverine boots, I can tell you that they do last a long time.  If you amortize the cost out for the 5 or so years you own them, it's not a bad deal.

It's really not that much of a spoiler.  The sigificance of the event is much greater than what happened.  The book is a good read and you can get through it in about two days.

@Dikachu:disqus (SPOILER ALERT) Not really essential to the story since it's pretty much a rehash of the bully fight near the beginning.  Except this time, Ender is outnumbered and outclassed and has to use more than pure rage to kill his second child-age victim.
