I have the reference problem, too.  The soluition I've found is to engage in a bit of light shaming on the recipient when they don't get the joke.  It's seemed to work for me and focuses the attention on someone else when the joke bombs.

I didn't go to Disney World for the first time until I was about 25 (no kids).  It was so much fun and I've been back a few times since.

Thanks for the responses!  I prefer physical media for the sound quality, artwork and liner notes, not to mention the fact that after I get it home it's mine. 

That's really what I wondered, physical vs digital only. 

I prefer CDs over MP3s for the reasons @dikachu said.  Also if you've spent money on a decent sound system, you can really tell the difference sound quality wise.

I'm glad other people remember that scene.  I often refer to needing to take "Silkwood Shower" after seeing/doing something disgusting.  No one seems to get the reference.

I have a friend whose parents are swingers.  They're definately upper-middle class (Drs, lawyers, business owners, etc), but no candidates for public office.
