One of my weirder restaurant experiences was sitting at the bar, watching the bartender throw canned fruit cocktail and a bottle of Boone’s (or Boone’s-adjacent) sangria into a picture and charge $30 for it without shame. Did not order a drink that night.

Mostly unrelated, but you really gotta hand it to Baltimore for getting the nickname ‘Charm City.’ Gives you some really good naming options for restaurants and whatnot. 

I swear to god if the price of chicken thighs goes the way of skirt steak, chicken wings or other “cheap” cuts I’m going to lose my mind.

It feels blasphemous to suggest this but what about eating these with a knife and fork? Less mess, you can cut it up to dip, you’re not forced to shovel all of the delicious skin in to your mouth at once.

I think they’re missing a real opportunity by not selling that hot sauce packet bouquet by itself. I want one for my kitchen.

Well, here’s the homemade Christmas gift the olds in my family are getting this year. 

Katie is my favorite bachelorette, period. Also I got way more glee out of having these gents eat a massive plate of carbs (with carb AND calorie count laid out right there in front of them!) than watching them eat a cockroach or something.
