Not even going to read the article before I CP this one.

*Drops head in shame. Has driven a Versa since 2013, just passed 201k miles with no maintenance issues. Wishes I could be a hater like everyone else.*

I don’t find this weird at all. In fact, I did this twice last summer! Made it fun because we were able to invite our friends back to the campsite for an after-dinner campfire (who were warned in advance to bring outdoor clothes to wear)

That’s not a shrimp in his pants, if you know what I mean.

Are you from the future? /s

If KFC sold Bucket O’ Skins, I’d be in the drive-thru lane right now.

I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Due to fortunate circumstances, I was able to sell my house for twice what I paid for it and move in with my wife (See: fortunate circumstances). This allowed us to: 1. Get 100% out of debt; 2. Establish a legitimate 6 month emergency fund; and 3. Bump up retirement savings to 20% each.

When I’m at work, I 100% rely on Messages on the PC. Love the pop up notifications - and I don’t have to keep checking my phone.

Got it (finally) yesterday. Now I just need to convince others that the Android Messages app would be better suited for their needs (and my interest in seeing how this bad boy finally works)

Thank you for the laugh out loud in the office this morning due to the best use of an Arrested Development quote I’ve seen all day.

I’m sorry, what temperature?

I also do this. The staff’s first stop at the table usually starts with “What can I get you to drink?” and I indicate our drink order AND the appetizer we want. When they return with the drinks, we order our entrees. Usually gives us a 5-10 minute headstart with the apps on the table before the entrees come out.

Contrary to the spirit of The Inventory, I’m not going to buy anything this week or weekend. I refuse to perpetuate the belief that buying stuff that I don’t need with money I don’t have to impress people who I don’t like is important to me or my family (glad to attribute that quote and belief to Dave Ramsey).

Wish i could have given the Sara Lee statement a star.

As someone who attempts to be reasonable with my car purchases (namely: buy in cash only what I can afford) and as someone who communes 58 miles one way to work, I can easily say: I will never, ever buy a car from Ford or GM until they return to the small car market. #1 - I can’t afford their offerings (even the base

I have a horrible standoff with Amazon and CamelCamelCamel right now. Every day, the price goes down a little bit on a product I’ve been tracking for over a year. I think they are clearing out the stock of this product, and are doing incremental decreases to maximize their profits before they all go away.

Apparently no one on this comment thread has seen “Johnny Dangerously”. Contact paper. Contact paper is the answer.

Ugh. I read your comment about a 3% raise not doing much, and I heartily agree. That’s where I’m stuck. Guaranteed the 3% (never any less, but never any more either).
