I hated more than anything hearing the ‘innocent’ excuses people had for violating probation. I had a lot more domestic violence cases than rape cases, and so often these guys with violent convictions would get probabtion violations for firearm possession. On the plea form, it explicitly states they can’t have a gun,

So...you’re changing the subject again...but this time rephrasing as if that was somehow your original question? Okie dokie..Obviously I have no idea what got this guy arrested in a school zone. But honestly I don’t care if they followed him around just waiting for him to accidentally enter a school zone because I

No and nope. Now You’ve just stopped trying. Or making any sense.

Ignorance of the reality that in many areas there are not many black people, and that doesn’t mean those areas are all white and rural. And also your ignorance of the reality that many prosecutors have never ever prosecuted a black man. And before you jump in and accuse me of arguing that black men aren’t

You’re welcome. Don’t tell anyone, but sometimes I kinda like trolls. internet trolls are much easier than courtroom trolls.

Are you changing the subject because your ignorance is showing?

Also, I did have black people “cross my desk” as you put it. The most memorable to me was victim of a horrific crime at the hands of a 2 white people. I prosecuted the white people obviously. He was from Ghana and I helped him to get a U visa to remain in the US.

Maybe start googling the demographics of California counties. Many are less than 50% white, but have a very small black population.

I live in a very diverse area. However, it’s probably less than 2% black. I’ll leave it to you to trying an figure out where that could possibly be.

Again, classic trolling. You’re trying to put words in my mouth that I didn’t say at all. I said I’ve never prosecuted a black person. Which is 100% accurate.

I accuse you of being a troll because you are purposefully quoting me in a misleading way and taking my (and others) statements to illogical extremes in order to dispute them. This is classic trolling. If you want to not be dismissed as a troll, maybe take a logic course so you can actually form an effective argument.

Lols. Love you’re selective quoting, it it’s not very effective trolling. I’m all for the vengeance as you redefined the word.

Yeah....there’s no ethical issue using actual legal processes to try and get someone the punishment they deserve. I didn’t force anyone to take that plea deal. I didn’t force anyone to violate probation. The alternative is a Brock Turner situation.

You’re hilarious. Wanna hear something funny? I’ve never prosecuted a black person ever.

It’s not about feeling safe. (Which btw, I feel very safe. Not for the lack of rapists) It’s about not wanting a rapist behind me in line at the grocery store. Because he doesn’t deserve to have a normal life and I don’t deserve to have to deal with him in my presence.

Dude. The point of prison is to get rapists away from me. I don’t give a shit about giving them an opportunity to prove theyve learned. And more often than not, if you give that opportunity they prove they haven’t learned a thing.

Actually when I was a prosecutor, I’d push for sentences like this all the time. The point is: he’ll agree the to deal. Rape cases are always tricky to prosecute. It gets them a lengthy sentence when they violate probation...which they do often.

My boyfriend has an Italian last name and is Italian, but it also happens to be a Latino name too and people just assume he’s Latino, but he’s not.

I have a good friend of mine who is Puerto Rican. And his name is basically the equivalent of Thurston Howell, III. A super white name. And he of course doesn’t look stereotypically Latino. In college, he had a hard time getting into bars even when he was over 21 because he handed over his legit Puerto Rican driver’s

When I moved to the South for a few years I was honestly like “Where did all the Asians go and where I’d all these black people come from?!?” It was odd to have the realization that 1) not everywhere has so many Asians and that 2) California actually has a much smaller black population than I realized.
