I wish they’d concentrate on improving their delivery quality. It’s been pretty shitty in my area of NJ. The drivers are clueless, and aren’t given enough time to actually deliver by 8pm. They’re often delivering packages at 9pm or later. Mind you, they pre-scan to make it look like it got dropped off on time. So I

The bill in question is moronic, and the Senate funding bill is underfunding the effort by more than half. It’s a bad joke.

A second mosquito species found in most of the eastern US as found to be capable of carrying the virus in the last two weeks. Aedes albopictus. Found it in a tested mosquito in Mexico.

This:

DC had the same logo (the blue, 45 degree angled DC in a circle with stars) from 1976 to 2005. That one, and the red block letters in the black circle that was around for a few years before the ‘76 logo were fine, and I like that this one goes back to those a bit.

Putting stars on everything was kind of a big thing in

The water for some of the venues (sailing, rowing) is polluted with sewage. “Shit-soaked” is about right. It’s also believed by researchers that a single infected individual started the epidemic in Brazil. Having that many people travel there, and then return to places where there are mosquito species that can carry

Don’t know why, but I just pictured a scene where Portman, dressed like her character in Garden State, hands her headphones to Zach Braff, and tries to get him to listen to The Shins. She gets pissed when he isn’t enthusiastic enough, pulls Mjolnir out of a duffle bag, transforms, and proceeds to knock his ass around

Rumor has it that Miller, at least, won’t be a regular (and wasn’t planning to be), but (somehow - I guess we find out soon) still will appear in the Berlanti-verse shows.

This is heartbreaking. I hope she’s ok. Can’t imagine what her family is going through, even before she went missing.

Unless he’s got her on video doing it, I think there’s a good chance he’s throwing paint at his own house and blaming her for it. I’ve known a couple of people who have had the “awful neighbor doing intrusive renovations that go on way too long and constantly cause problems” situation, and the three cases, the awful

It’s at least 50-50 that he’s chucking the paint at his own house and blaming her.

Letterman used this one during “small town news” on the Late Show. It’s from Ames, Iowa and Dave’s observation was “A Tracker’s Dream”.

Finally realized it when I saw the headline again this morning:

Well, a pretty common thread among people with a brain in the entertainment industry is that studio and TV executives are among some of the dumbest, most ignorant people they’ve ever met. So it’s not too surprising.

That’s priceless. Is there a single Trump-associated product or service he’s mentioned in the last year that he hasn’t lied/been wrong about?

I’ve long argued that there’s a hardcore subset of PETA that seems to hate people more than they care about animals. I think I’d have to put her in the same category.

And RI is 83% white, which makes a difference as well.

There’s a strong, strong trend. The exceptions (states like Oklahoma, Hawaii) are all open primary states.

Alaska has a large Native American population. What’s the voter turnout in those communities? I honestly don’t know, but I’d love to know what the demographics of the Democratic primary were.

States in the high

Yeah, basically it breaks down to:

1) As you approach 80% white, the state tends to swing for Sanders. The higher you go, the more for Sanders it goes.

Has Sanders won in any state where less than 76% of the population is white? Based on that, he’s not going to win in California or New Jersey.
