I've been a fan of Maren Ade's movies for years, and I'm just so happy for her. Toni Erdmann is surprisingly successful even commercially in Germany. More than half a million people have watched it, which is a big deal. I'm really curious how it will fare abroad.

Down But Not Yet Out is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Sigh, I still remember the first season fondly, when I actually liked the show. I hate what the writers have turned it into. I won't miss what it has become.

I'm actually enjoying the show, and I think Miley Cyrus is really great in it. I've never really listened to her pop stuff except for a few unavoidable hits, but I already liked her Flaming Lips collaboration. I think she's on a good path right now.
Regarding the comparisons to Transparent, I have no interest in that

I enjoyed this one even more than the first, so I'll keep watching. Miley Cyrus seems like a decent actress.

I just watched the first episode and liked it well enough. I have seen many Woody Allen movies, but few of the recent ones. I was surprised how little he has changed.

I thought 'A Prophet' was overrated, and I outright hated this one. I guess Jacques Audiard just isn't for me.

TBH, I don't get all the fuss. As the first line of the review states, the story is familiar. The movie is done well, but to me it wasn't exceptional in any way. It's all been done before.

I loved the entire episode, but what really sealed it as an 'A' for me was then they used Television's "Guiding Light" during the car ride at the end!

I'm clearly in the minority, but I liked this episode much worse than the ones before. I prefer the slow pace of the beginning of the season, and I don't understand why there has to be gun violence in a show about hacking and personality disorders. Aren't there enough other action shows?

It was uncensored on Amazon Prime Video here in Germany.

Let me know what you think of her in that show when you do!

It's safe to say that's the minority opinion. I'm catching up on the show because I was so impressed by her in Stranger Things, and the talent is visible here already.

I watched the first two seasons, mainly because of Kyle Chandler and Linda Cardellini, but I don't think I'll stick around for another season. FWIW, I liked the first season much better than the second one.

I turned off the pilot after 30 minutes, because it felt like I had seen it all before.

I watched it completely when it aired in the UK, but I can't really recommend it. I liked it better than most commenters on the Guardian site, but given the surplus of TV shows, there are better ways to spend your time.

This is a quality show, but it's not as great as it is made out to be. Some of the plotting has been so heavy-handed. I like a lot of the moments and the characters, but the actual plot is not up to par.

This was my favorite episode so far, and I have to believe the grade is so low because it's a different reviewer.

Sicut Cervus: Palestrina in da house, yo!
