I'm probably the only person who watches FTWD but has never watched TWD, which might explain why I like it better than most people here.

Was the religious music from the Solomon Islands taken directly from the Thin Red Line soundtrack, or did it only sound similar (to me)?

I enjoyed this episode much more than the two before it that everyone else seemed to love. Generally speaking I think the first season was underrated, and this one is overrated. But I'll reserve judgment until I've watched the last two episodes.

Plus, Sally is the worst and deserved everything she got.

I half-expected Jasper to kill himself at the end.

Really? Root's death was so pointless. They were in much trickier situations before, and they made it. Didn't feel earned to me at all, they just wanted to create drama. I'm really disappointed with the show right now. If they had to kill Root, it should've been in a more meaningful way. This seemed like a Tasha Yar…

This episode didn't really work for me. I preferred the earlier ones without all the drama.

I think zombies are boring, and I only watched the pilot for Kim Dickens and Alycia Debnam-Carey. Not sure if I will continue.

I never read the books, and have no intention to, and I seem to enjoy the show much more than most people here. It's not great by any means, but it looks gorgeous, and the young actors do an excellent job.

She was my favorite part of the episode.

I disagree that the female characters aren't as interesting as the male ones. Mystique/Raven and Jean Grey are arguably the most important characters in the entire movie.

Good riddance, I hated that character (and/or the actor).

Well, I just read this review after watching the movie, and I agree 100% with the reviewer. I actually thought the same while watching it. I think your point should be to avoid reviews before seeing a film, not that reviews should not make such observations.

I never watched The Office (US) while it was on, because I don't like remakes. I started watching the end of season 5 because of Kimmy Schmidt. After this episode I guess I'll have to watch the entire show!
