I really don’t “get” the sub-brand thing. It was dumb when FCA spun off “Ram” from Dodge, “Wagoneer” from Jeep, it was dumb when chevy mentioned having a “Corvette” subbrand for an SUV, when they Came out with two different Broncos, and it was dumb when they spun “Mustang” into an EV SUV.

We’re out in the sticks, and a good amount of houses use well water with no hydrant access. The hydrants that we do have are pretty much just on the main roads, and we (a Volunteer Fire Department) test them ourselves a few times a year. It’s a hell of a lot of work to do for free lol!

Sure, but I don’t think this is quite as severe as everyone makes it out to be. You still have suspension, steering, brakes, infotainment, wiring, software, tires, etc. to deal with. Most vehicles at this point run to 100k with very minimal work to begin with, and most dealers make next to nothing on basic maintenance…
