This. Every day I am just amazed at the unkindness on display by so many people that consider themselves on the moral high ground.

Gotta be the little disk of Shag Carpet on the dash that my Nissan Cube came with.
Worked on my fair share of these in my tire shop days. The real sketchiness was once these had 100 or so thousand miles on them.

Yeah i’ve been under a rock, I didnt realize these things were basically an electric luxo-barge
I know for some reason we ain’t wild about Teslas here but for being roughly 150K less expensive and at a 380lb ft deficit in power, losing by a third of a second seems.......pretty insignificant?
That is absolutely heartbreaking to hear. I can’t imagine, man.
Next time you get pulled over, try this, not only will it speed the whole stop up, it will lead to an immensely friendlier stop.
Oh for sure. Most good shops will find the time, but I say this as a guy that ran a shop for 10 years, and had a LOT of locals that always seemed to need “squeezed in”
Biggest sign of a good one?
Swear! And I absolutely am loving it. 60 mile round trip commute every day, it usually gets 35-37 miles of electric range, Currently averaging a little over 75 miles to a gallon.
Oh it’s busy for sure, but the rest of the car is pretty tame, so they went with a complex nose. I can see why some wouldnt like it, but I personally dig it. The only thing I really dislike is the rear end. It looks like you could put literally any manufacturers badge on the tailgate and it would fit in with anyone’s…
I like the “Alfa Romeo” script better, honestly. There’s something a little “Amazon.com accessories” about the logo grille. That, and the front 3/4 view makes the rear half look a little too modern Chevy-esqe to my eyes.
Oh I HATE leather, so I get it. The ones in my Jeep are heated cloth, and they are DIVINE. I worked in garage flipping semi tires for 10 years, then I worked at a steel mill basically shoveling all day. The warmth is great, but the real benefit is how soothing they are for a sore back.
There’s really nothing I can’t live without, but If we’re playing the game where I buy a brand new car and the sales guy says “what are your must-haves”
Two things, one, are you local to stark county? I work 20 minutes away from Canton, small world.
I’m partial to Jeep’s High Velocity. It has no metallic in it whatsoever, but it’s somehow extremely reactive to light. It has the slightest tinge of green that makes it seem like it actually glows with energy. The black and baby blue accents on the hybrid models contrast it perfectly as well, giving the whole thing a…
I was hoping for the Magneto again, but man oh man that Vacationeer is everything a concept truck should be. Just beautiful.
Compared to the 3.6/6 speed in my Caravan, I’ll take more shifting over the sluggish response from that trans. A pacifica has the exact same hp and weighs more, yet feels like it has 50 more horsepower, just because it always seems to be either in the right gear, or a split second away from it.
The Etorque is neat, but it only seems to operate when taking off from a dead stop or when starting the engine. It does make the automatic stop start INCREDIBLY smooth and fast, so I like it.
