I’m with you. The reviews do make it a little easier to boycott it.

Thank you!  My wife and I have been arguing about that for a week.  She wants to watch it, and I do not, for just that reason.   Fuck Christopher Nolan.

Meanwhile James Thomas Fallon is absolutely a “Jimmy”.

I hope they show how Sauron initially came in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, he came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it

Sure, he says he’s sorry for this, but I’m still waiting on an apology for The Return of Bruno.

I don’t care, as long as it’s not Crystal Skull-era.

Raiders-Era Indy only, please and thank you.

You know they were on a sitcom for several years before they became businesswomen, right?

I don’t know what that is, but I’m pretty sure I would remember something like that if I had ever come across it.

I don’t remember where I heard this line, I’m sure it was some movie or another, but it’s never been more fitting than for Rudy: “He couldn’t hit the ground with his hat in three tries.”

They need to go full Disney-sequel with it.  Bring back Marion, Willy Scott, Sallah, digital Sean Connery and Marcus Brody, but none of them will ever be on screen together and at the end a grown-up Emo Short Round kills Indy.

A cursory google search tells me that they have never made Pops of George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, or John Williams, yet we get 2! versions of Richard Simmons?!   I’ve never bought one of these things, but I’d get a Johnny Williams holding a little baton in a heartbeat.

You think Elizabeth Olsen asked her sisters for some sitcom-acting advice?

I remember that. People threw a fit about Bond sleeping with Grace Jones. It’s like people forgot about him getting with Gloria Hendry from Live and Let Die, and that was 12 years earlier.

Started watching all the Bond movies in a row after Sean died a while back. Watched A View to a A Kill just three days ago. Not one of the best, but it has some great scenes, and even though Roger Moore looked ancient next to Roberts, it’s still a fun one just because of Walken and Grace Jones chewing the scenery.

That was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, and I laughed all the way through it.

Yeah, I see that now. At first glance this read like they were going to start production on S3 of Mando after The Fett show airs, not after it’s been filmed.
