Is the Tyler Mane version of Sabretooth meant to be the same one played by Liev Schreiber in Origins? So when they face off in the original X-Men, they’re brothers and it just doesn’t happen to get mentioned?

Slideshow idea:  Don’t do f***ing slideshows.

Jodie Foster needs to make a cameo.

Upvoted for agreeing with you, but mostly for referencing Bloom County.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Spielberg’s ‘smaller’ movies that don’t have dinosaurs or aliens or archaeologists. Movies like this, The Post, and Always show he’s just as skilled a filmmaker even without the multi-million $$ FX budgets.

Michael McDonald’s song over the closing credits, Through the Eyes of A Child, deserves a mention here. If you’re not paying attention, it just sounds like a standard inspirational pop song from a Disney movie. Then the lyrics start to sink in. I love this. Makes me want to go sit outside the comic-book store and listen for the cries of outrage like the Grinch waiting for the Whos to discover Christmas has been stolen.

All I can say is that I hope that this beloved entertainment industry fixture isn’t bought by some craven corporate raider type that hollows it out and ruins the magic for everybody.’     It feels like you’re talking about what’s happening over at The AV Club without talking about what’s happening at The AV Club.

Introducing the Tuesday night keynote speaker at this Summer’s Republican National Convention.

Is that sarcasm?  Or are the AI bots that write the AV Club’s articles really that naive?

RIP.   We never found out why he hated those cans.

7 years ago we made a mini-trip out of it and drove 4 hours North to see the eclipse in totality in Cape Girardeau, MO. We had no trouble at all. Traffic wasn’t bad, we booked a hotel room at the regular price about three weeks beforehand, went to eat in town the night before with no long waits for anything. This time
