I think I would rather see Rex show up than Boba, but I think in the Disney-era of Star Wars, there’s no chance he didn’t survive the Sarlaac Pit somehow.  He’ll turn up in something eventually.

I don’t think anything is official. Rosario Dawson and Temura Morrison have been confirmed to be in it, and she has pretty strongly
hinted that she’s playing Ahsoka, but everything else is just speculation.

As I recall, she was sitting down to a bunch of melting ice cream from the powerless freezer. Kind of cancels out any healthful benefits from the exercise.

Unless I’ve missed something, no one has officially confirmed that Morrison is actually playing Boba Fett.  Considering Ahsoka’s involvement this season, it seems just as possible that he’ll be appearing as Captain Rex. I’m torn between which one I think would be more fun to have show up.

I’m a longtime lover of the Great American Songbook, and Rodgers and Hart are two of my favorites. I’ve got several different versions of the song ‘I Could Write a Book’. Frank, Harry Connick, Gene Kelly, a few others.

Rendezvous with Rama?  I think they gave up on that years ago.

This kind of thing didn’t happen when they just had Clint Eastwood talking to an empty chair.

The only thing I remember liking about this movie in it’s original form was the moment Flash tried to get behind Superman while they were fighting and was dumbfounded when he realized Supes was fast enough to follow him with his eyes. That’s it. From a movie that already seemed like it was 4 hours. I don’t known if

Now playing

I remember working in the projection booth at the local theater when a couple of copies of the trailer were delivered one afternoon probably sometime in late ‘92. I knew the movie was coming, I had read the book already, but didn’t know much more than that. Spliced one of the trailers to the beginning of something

My local theater (a Regal) is opening Friday, and to pad out their screens, they’re also showing Empire Strikes Back, Force Awakens, The Goonies, Jaws, and some others. I don’t care a bit about the Russell Crowe thing, which looks like something that would come and go without much notice in normal times. It’s going to

My mistake. Thought you meant the pic of the actual nasal explorer. Lego Nasal Explorer would make a great set, by the way.

That’s not Duplo. That’s the hand of a standard Lego minifigure, which can pop out with very little effort. I estimate there are about 43,000 of them in our vacuum cleaner bag.

Well.....

Last month my awesome wife let me splurge on the UCS Lego Millennium Falcon for my son and I to build together. Out of 7,541 pieces, there was only one was couldn’t find. It’s a pretty common Lego piece, so we just swiped one off something else in the big pile in his room and moved on. After we were done, I found

Fuck.  Now I’ve got THAT in my head.

Every time I see him, I think of how he was almost cast as Toby Ziegler on The West Wing and I wonder how great he might have been at it. Not knocking Richard Schiff at all, but I loooove it when someone known mostly for comedy does a dramatic role and just kills it. I have no doubt Levy would have owned that

I’ve never seen an audience collectively cringe (me included) as much as they did when he held that ice skate up against his abcessed tooth.
