I have no fault with the reasoning behind each point... science is, like my favorite thing. It's just... I question the premise that we are in some fight with all these science deniers. Funny how I grew up in Texas ( in the 70s and 80s) but never realized that whole time that there were folks that didn't believe in

Well, the question I'm responding to isn't the technical brilliance of the product but it's long term viability in the market... because markets may have other, more practical, considerations and ultimately the markets are harsh and uncaring regarding pure technical brilliance and/or ingenuity.

It's not surprising.

You're kinda popping the cork on that bubbly a little early, aren't you?

Yeah, that's like all the 911 drivers i see! None of them are where full race suits and helmets.

My '88 Mustang 5.0 had 300 ft-lbs...

Correct. The damn thing makes 350 ft-lb below 2000 RPM. Something's not adding up.

Sorry, the math doesn't work out. You can't have 450 hp with only 317 torque at any RPM below 7500.

Well I hate to go all negative when there is so much that is right about this car but...

"...giving it the power of an HD truck in something (slightly) smaller."

"Plundering nature on an individual level is basically the founding myth of America."

Unless you have an older diesel pickup.. then idle that shit for 15 minutes in <= 20*F.

Now playing

I do love the Renovo, it elicits a nostalgic emotion that is very pleasing; and I'm sure it will be amazing on a track for 10 laps or so.

For $5500 this would make an excellent, and hilarious, deer lease vehicle. Nice price.
