My good sir, Raphy... Don't frustrate yourself with trying to fit one car for every occasion. You must have the proper tool for the job. This road requires a one, the salt flats another, the Texas mile or the hills around Austin a couple more. The Z28 (or it's other modern and perhaps similarly delicate brethren) does

Introducing the 2015 Porsche 911 lineup!!!

Well, lucky for Porsche, they've got the 911 market cornered so I guess they can get away with this.

I hope they do directly compete with the z28. I see that car as very similar to the Boss 302 Leguna Seca, except even more compromised as a daily driver than the Boss with significantly more power. If the GT350 is targeted to compete with the Z28, then i would expect a stripped out, track-ready setup with at least

Interesting stories. I will have to look into them more. The Austin one is interesting to me because I live in Texas, and have lived in Austin previously. I am not surprised those types of attitudes have taken root Austin; it is not only the largest (only?) liberal bastion in Texas, but ranks right up there with the

I've seen it. I'd be happy to admit I'm wrong on that. I'm just not sure I buy into the rumors.

and... that's what happens when draw conclusions based on purely voyeuristic observation and ignore the experience... you're usually wrong.

It's interesting that the performance pack's upgraded springs, dampers and tires are not more aggressive. Soundly beaten by the Camaro as a result.

I think you are identifying to much of your "person hood" with the car you drive. You enable "death by 1000 cuts" because you are giving their opinion too much power over your passion. You built that car for YOU... not for the haters. If you enjoy it, that is all that matters. You don't need acceptance of your hobby

This is fucking hilarious!

Huh. I am not familiar with this story of the police being called over kids being allowed to play outside. Also, the Kinder Egg story is foreign to me.

Yeah, that range Rover is pretty fast.

1st gear: They are well aware of the difference; hoping you wouldn't notice.

As an American that once was a kid, I can say that I remember running with a group of kids that did this once. That's the thing about kids, there's a lot of irrational thought and an inability to understand consequences.

PETA and the EPA are at cross-odds here...

That's a lot of seconds! The Boss 302, if I recall, was around 1 sec faster than an M3 around Leguna Seca. This bodes well for the GT350...

It's true... only bad thing is if you push your look too far you may be repairing your heads and /or pistons. Since that is a big risk to take, most folks follow the maintenance guidelines and replace them around 100K.

It's marketing man. They want to able to say that it's faster than the Mustang or the Challenger or maybe even the C63 or M3... And, in case you haven't been paying attention, American pony cars can now officially handle.

There have been many cross influences. It goes both ways. But there's many old historic cultural traditions or perspective in Europe that we don't have here.

You do know your lines...
