I rented an Edge for a weekend. I found that the controls were fine after you got used to it, fairly intuitive. My only complaint was the touch screen was not very responsive to input. I'd have to "touch" things two to three times before they were selected.

That car was built to be driven. What's the point of tire vaporizing power and the much improved handling it likely has if not to drive it? To admire the potential speed? To imagine the push in the small of you back? To dream of a 80-130 mph blast?

Not to mention the gargantuan trunk!
