Oh yeah... '69 Stingray
Yeah, I can see the generic super car design formula at play... and the Ferrari influence. But I also see some of this...
I always thought the Maybach was unremarkable and a little ugly. The proportions where off.
There's plenty of examples of governments doing obvious, blatant and undeniable evil. I like to distinguish the US from those. I know some don't.
And without clandestine operations perhaps even more would die? Do we know, is it even possible to know, how many lives were saved by clandestine operations in Libya? How many terrorist attacks have been prevented? This is where you need more empirical data but will never know for sure. I think the folks need to…
Philosophy provides a framework but the practical implementation of it always reveals how limited it is and how much bolstering it needs to hold up to real world tests. Intellectuals don't get this because they don't do things... they only think about them.
For me the problem with Wikileaks and Assange is that their freedom of information mantra is absolute - there's no room for discretion. Also, do you really want news media as the gatekeepers of sensitive diplomatic and military information? You can argue that there is not enough transparency in government but I don't…
I've driven a couple of cars with backup cameras and I don't like them at all. I don't trust what I'm seeing because the relational perspective is not there. I just found myself using the mirrors. I do like the backup sensors though. They add an auditory sense to the visual without distracting.
Great comment but... you got upstaged buy that sweet sounding 347 stroker.
Yeah but, why is the body on backwards? and why is he doing a burnout in reverse?
I'm not the arm chair quarterback, I'm not presuming to know what went into Jeep's decision process, nor am I condemning it to failure. I said, "We'll see". Personally, as an enthusiast, I don't like it, but, I can't say it's a failed business strategy.
No.. it's just you state your opinion as fact. It's quite amusing. It's not that I agree with the direction jeep is taking... nor do I question the philosophical approach of those companies you list (albeit those are VERY different businesses, Ferrari and Toyota). I just don't think you are in a position to so…
I agree with this in principle. How has the practical application of this philosophy worked for you in your business endeavors?
Not to be the pedant on the topic of dyno numbers but you really should distinguish HP from WHP in the title of your article. Now you're talking about a 300+ hp BRZ.
Did you seriously think you would get a serious answer to this question on Jalopnik? LOL.
Well.... not totally new, now is it?
$37K? I don't get how that scores it a 7 in value.
Seriously. Who gives an avocado?
Exactly. And this is why and how the new fuel economy standards are passed on to the consumer, to their detriment. It's another indirect tax.
There is a time to laugh and a time not to laugh, and this is not one of them.
