Un-American but not un-Texan. Is the death wobble on you F250? lol

2nd: Perhaps there is some truth here, although I'm not sure the study translates to American very well. The thing is, there are other benefits / reasons to buy the diesel. It's not purely an economy decision. For me anyways, it's also about performance and tuning potential and a 700 mile range.

As there is between a 997 and a 993 Porsche? Sure, but I think it still maintains the same correct Mini Cooper formula (or as correct as it can be in a modern Cooper), although there may be aspects of the later model that move away from that, just as the R50/R53 was worlds away from the original Cooper, just as the

That's pedantic. I understand the car was refreshed but it's still the exact same formula.

They're still making the car that started the Mini renaissance, right? So we still have that. And some other stuff that's hit or miss. I don't see the problem.

Funny. That quote was the one where Neal lost credibility with me. Which is it? Running out of oil, or killing the planet that's the concern? I mean, if we run out of oil, the eco problem is solved, right? This isn't an honest argument, it's a political one.

JustGeeing. He corrected it.

Damn.

Hey Raphael, minor point of clarification... 763.9 RWHP is not directly comparable to the 662 SAE certified crank horsepower published by Ford. 763 RWHP would be closer to 900 crank HP.

Hate and ignorance aren't the same thing. He may have no malicious intent. It may be a cultural blind spot.

Maybe he's just ignorant?

6th: Save the 'ring? No thanks, I'm not into bailing out bad businessmen (or women) that don't do proper market research or hire experienced roller coaster designers. It sucks, but they fucked it, and now it will be sold so the investors can get their money back.

...car enthusiasts, who theoretically love responsive, high-revving gas engines,

Especially when you talk about the 4 door, 4wd Rangers. They weren't exactly cheap and the value prop compared to the F150 was even worse.

Impreza with a 3 inch lift kit? Yee haw!!!

Interesting. I will use Germans for my fat jokes next time!

Why testing in America?

Oh shit. Damn.

By the time I saw the original Jalopnik article (late Monday), the video was down / required a password. It's now available on youtube but that was not posted by Omega. Did I miss something?

It was an accidental / on purpose leak that will be damaging to the company, at the very least from a credibility perspective. Money is most likely on the line, retaining this law firm is confirmation of that and probably seen as a prudent investment in this situation.
