Jimmy doesn’t like Howard because he was a “front” for all of Chuck’s BS and largely served to enable Chuck’s worst tendencies, specifically as it relates to Jimmy’s suspension. It’s true that Howard has been generally more decent as of late but its hard to look past that bad behavior.

Tolkien not writing anything in the last 45 years also seems to have inspired Martin...

I’m consistently pissed off that they don’t get real billionaires to play Bruce Wayne.

Keep in mind, I am not questioning the fact that this show isn’t good.

Can anybody explain to me the problem with an actress wearing a fatsuit in 20-freaking-18? I mean, I would get the anger about this particular part of the show, if she would portray an overweight character through its whole run or if it would look like a cartoony caricature, but it’s the story of an overweight girl

She was good in John Wick 2 where... she couldn’t speak.

She’s the new Kristanna Loken.

The twitter reaction is weird to me. I guess I get the “can’t act” response, though her resume is probably better than most of the other CW superhero leads when their shows started.

It looks like somebody at the CW typed “lesbian” into Google Image Search (set to moderate) and hired the person from the first photo that popped up.

I remember her from OITNB.

Interestingly, I just read in Sepinwall’s review that the original plan WAS to have Howard just be a jerk, and Chuck to be a sounding board for Jimmy. And then the writers realized it made no sense for Chuck to ever feel like Jimmy could be his equal, given the way he’d already been written, so they shifted gears and

Howard is far more complex than we the viewing audience were lead to believe in the first two seasons. I just queued up the season 3 finale Lantern and the way Howard handles Chuck in the opening scene . . . it’s half fancy restaurant maitre d’ and half Michael Corleone. It was a check-mate moment.

I think Saul got away clean.

They should get the actress who played the drummer’s girlfriend in the movie “Whiplash.” She’s got the kind of movie star good looks you need for the part.

This last season was especially rough because Kreisberg got #MeTooed so everything he wrote got scrapped and they were basically flying by the seat of their pants.

It seems to me like going from a DC television show to the DC movie universe is a bit like being called up from the minors only to play for the worst major league team out there.

Yeah no doubt, they are solid. It’s just the inconsistent writing that sticks out for me.

WB execs, apparently, and literally no one else.

Who wants Supergirl without Melissa Benoist?
