Well, when you come down to it..they are not “wrong”. Really the only difference is that with an app you can enter it directly without an intermediate provider. And unless you are a cord cutter or one of those weird people with no TV’s, I never really got why you would want to watch a TV show or movie on a smaller

It isn’t slam dunk at all.  You need to prove malice, which is impossible.  If Rudy believed it to be true, he is protected under the first amendment. And if Dominion lost no business over his claims and suffered no pecuniary loss, they have no damages.

This and Big Brother are the two most inexplicable long running shows ever. Has anyone of these “couples” ever had a real relationship that lasted more than a month? It is fake. It is pro wrestling fake and still there is an audience that takes it seriously. Plus, it is degrading to everyone involved and chasing after

INXS was my favorite group growing up, and they should be in the hall of fame. There are three reasons why they are underappreciated. First of course is the tragic death of Michael Hutchence. Groups that cannot tour (at least with the same members and not some Frankenstein monster of a group..see Journey) just fall

I disagree Harry Potter was strictly “product”. To all its fans, it was not. It was based on beloved books and actually has a lot in common with the Lord of the Rings films. Both were fantasy novels, both probably would have been impossible to make even ten years before they came out, and both really were actually

The whole cheetah thing was murky from the movie. She stated she would never renounce her wish..but at the end she is clearly back to normal. So was it taken away from her? Did she renounce it? Why when she seemed pretty happy with how hers turned out. Are they bringing her back? All kind of unclear.

Get in a time machine and go back to the USSR, commie mexican drug dealer with an earing and your crazy rock and/or roll!

When Chuck Norris dives into the ocean, he does not get wet, the ocean gets Chuck Norris-ed.

agree. I said on here they should have maybe done a WWII episode instead, as all of it would make more sense and have more resonance. Nothing in this really ties particularly to  the 1980's other than surface fashions.

I get that, but I think it would have maybe been better to do a WWII story. Then it would kind of pair with the first one and her being hung up on Trevor would be more realistic as it would only be 20 years instead of 60. Even Steve Trevor in this movie lampshades that 60 years pining for one guy is a little much and

The good outweighs the bad. Is this as good as the first? No. (mild spoilers) The main issue is the main plot not only strains credulity but it is just rather sloppy. As an emotional plot? It works. As a logical one? It really doesn’t. It basically involves a magic stone that grants wishes..but “monkey paw” style”

Miles ahead of France? They have 1112 deaths per million, America has 1200. That is hardly “miles”. They have 72,000 deaths and 1/6 America’s population. You multiply it by six to 320 million (what the population of America is) they would have 420,000 deaths, same as America. Canada is sparsely populated. Germany did

Um, your link proves me right, America is 16th by mortality and another 30 are so close to America that it really makes no real difference. So what is your point? Only America has covid? That is news to the rest of us.

Hopefully it ends soon. It is the same all over the world that accurately reports numbers.  Most countries in Europe have 1/6 the population of the United States, so if you would multiply their deaths by 6 it is basically the same percentage.

Red Oaks just did not do it for me. It is basically a caddie shack rip off (but tennis) that is not nearly funny enough or ribald enough to be good. (after the admittedly good first episode, there is zero nudity or anything about it that is “R” rated.) Paul Reiser is very good (actually all the “older” character

Even if Game of Thrones ended in a triumph, I think any further spinoffs are doomed to failure. Like Battlestar Galactica or Lost or any high concept show that has a beginning/middle and end, once the story is told it is told you cannot recapture lightening in a bottle.

I haven’t been a teenager in twenty years, s have no idea what that means

Nah, there is zero chance. She quit and caused them all kinds of headaches. A years worth of promotions, putting the character in crossovers, a whole storyline is all trashed. There is no body because they would have to have her back to have a body. The CW is not going to go through the expense of CGI-ing one. As

Agree. They really screwed up the Nick character. About 100 pages in the book sets this character up after being beat up in Arkansas and the nice sheriff and his wife and the bullies who beat him up, etc.. are all crucial to seeing why he is such a good person and makes you care for him. It also hurt a lot condensing

well, it is one of the most famous books by the most famous prolific author of the last 50 years..so yep, it is
