Two different types of hydrants used. Dry barrel and wet barrel. Dry barrel are used in cold climate areas and the actual valve for the hydrant is typically 36-48" underground. Hydrants also use breakaway bolts or breakable flange at mounting base to allow them to be hit by a car and break off without damaging the

Its not a giant F350 or Suburban to haul their 2yo and stroller, baby bag, food, car seats, groceries, and other useless stuff people carry in their giant vehicles.

It was a win win situation to get him a championship and get him out of there. Contract year if I remember correctly.

I said the same thing right after he retired and everyone basically said I was stupid on here. He wanted a championship to impress daddy and probably told ToTo he would retire if he got one. He had way better strategy and equipment than HAM that one season then poof he retires. I suspect he was the cancer on the

Christy Lee is on Garage Squad now. Dont think Jessi Combs was ever on it.

I love my Veloster N with perf package. Its very easy to live with everyday in NORMAL mode and very fun to throw around in Custom N mode. The seats are leaps and bounds better than my Focus ST seats were and the car is definitely quicker in the corners than the ST. Havent done a track day in it yet but finished 6th

Looks to me like they are missing a prime opportunity to make a 2 door RWD coupe out if it.

They cant sub anymore. For a driver to be eligible for the championship points they have to drive every race unless injured and not cleared by NASCAR doctors.

I bought the Veloster N because its the closest thing I could get to a new 2 door hot hatch in the US. I dont have kids, I dont haul anybody other than the wife, I dont need a giant truck or SUV. I only look at one side at a time so the assymetry doesnt bother me. I had a Focus ST and maybe used the back seat 5 times

I could ask all the Miata and BRZ drivers if their feelings were hurt after getting beat by my Veloster N at the autocross yesterday.

LS swap with a T56 is the answer to this problem.

But what about all the blown up VooDoos pushing the overweight Mustang?

These guys are easy to understand compared to John McGuinness or Guy Martin. Even this guy from Tennessee could understand em.

The first thing Im changing on my Veloster N with performance package is the 19" wheels and 235/35 tires. Gonna drop back to 18s amd 245/40 tires. I think the short sidewalls look goofy

GM is closing plants...VW is still trying to add more production here in Chattanooga. UAW is the problem with the American car industry. UAW saved Chrysler workers jobs when they were on video smoking pot in the parking lot at lunch. Not acceptable. I do understand their frustration with the work schedule though. That

The Ford Duratec engine is a Mazda collaboration. The Mazda trans bolts right up to the Duratec. You can swap a 2.0 Ecoboost into an NC Miata with little fabrication. I want to swap an Ecoboost into an XR4Ti with a Miata transmission

Looks like a deep impact blue Mustang GT with nice interior.

Really solidifies how big of a POS I am to be sitting here watching racing instead of driving today. Between Monger, Zanardi, and hopefully Wickens coming back it shows that hard work and determination really do pay off.

It has to be Sapphire Blue of Guards Red before I consider it. Plus I have to build another garage first. Gotta 1964 Fairlane with a 427W, a 1955 T Bird, and a 1970 Bronco I gotta build a home for first.

Just waiting on the used market to get them down around $100k with no miles on them so I can get one of these instead of a Cayman GT4.
