Great. Now I have to go to Bojangles for lunch. THANKS A LOT

I got that one and one telling me to update my flash player. I feel like it’s 2004
TBF, Chinatown was not Chinatown long before the MCI center was built, save a few apartment buildings, Some Kung Fu gift shops, four or five restaurants, that stupid arch, and a metro station. I’m not saying it was not wrong to put the arena there, but I’m old enough to remember running from gunshots leaving the clubs…
My friends and I had a running day for playing DC games for at least five years after they discontinued the system. Seeing that it was cancelled in 2001 doesn’t surprise me, mainly we didn’t play anything other than Power Stone, Soul Calibur, and Virtua Tennis.
Gunrock approves. And is sad there will never be a Power Stone 3.
Every time stadiums come up, Nats park and Navy Yard is mentioned. The plans were there, but only contingent on the park existing. Also, take a look at level of density before the park opened with the developers who jumped the gun and made the three level townhouses two blocks away from the park , and the multimillion…
This is decent Kinja. I’m sorry it isn’t getting the credit it deserves
Good on this dude. I remember my baby changing days, and this kind of being a problem. Finding a “family” restroom in a public place like a mall was always a godsend.
I bet that would be hard, tbh. Most locals I encounter are surprised by the names of neighborhoods not tied to metro stops or major avenues. Like, ask a DC native where Brightwood Park or Manor Park are, and they’d look at you funny. But, tell them you want to go to Petworth and they are all over how to get there. …
Shannon is a Blacks n Yak fan. Let him live. He has the Cohibas too.
I’d put three dollars down that Uncle Shannon is using those cards to play Tonk and not Spades.
I’ve never been to Reagan, but I certainly worked at a bookstore in National for two years during college.
More fun real estate neighborhood nonsense: did you know that technically, there’s a Michigan AND North Michigan Park? They are both North of Woodbridge, which, again, no one knows where they are.
I’d rather Noma be called Swampoodle, the name it had before the Uline Arena was built, because, why the hell not, or Old City. But people in Trinidad still call it Trinidad, for sure which has always ended at West VA Ave to the West. Also, and personally, I’m more amused by people claiming Ivy City than Union Market.
You mean the non voting shadow senator and congresswoman we have in DC? Sure, Jan.
So is Killmonger... F4 can go away. Just leave the villains
I don’t really see him around the media as of late. I think Snyder finally understands that he needs to be in the owner’s box and not the sideline.
“watched everything that exists on Netflix.”
I grew up in NYC, and until High School I pronounced it HUEston because I wasn’t snob. Now I am, apparently.
I used to think that way too, but “limited government” and “state’s rights” is different to me than what the Republican Party thinks they are, as well as the idea that being economically conservative has never been a true goal of the GOP.
