To be fair, most people who really love Bowie don't like his 80s stuff either. It's not just that it's superficial, a lot of it is genuinely mediocre.

I think they'd really click. Russian-American relations might really warm up if we vote for Trump.
Do you remember the talk you were listening to? Sounds interesting.
^ The only part I remember from that episode.
Ah man, I'd love to see a series set in the future of the Avatar world, where everything's cyberpunk and there are flying cars n shit.
Yeah, it's the only clip show I've ever not fast-forwarded through. Might just be because I like musicals, though.
The Burns-heavy episodes in Season 2 are enough to include it among the greats, imo. And it's hard to beat Karl in "Simpson and Delilah."

A lot of the animators at Klasky Csupo were from former communist countries, and brought with them the weird visuals of experimental Soviet animation. This film, for example, was directed by a guy who two years later would go on to work heavily on Rugrats: https://youtu.be/fYdaHaNRMKg
I didn't think the review was particularly great, but it's an episode about politics released during election season. Seems appropriate to mention the context everyone's viewing it in.
your strong opinions on Donald Trump shouldn't be making their way into reviews of "Gravity Falls".
To be fair, the average person in the Galaxy had probably never heard of a Sith before, whereas they had some idea what a Jedi was.
In one movie they had to fly down a trench and hit a tiny exhaust port, in the other they had to get the shields down in order to fly to the core of the Death Star. I agree that bringing the Death Star back was a lazy storytelling choice, but those are clearly two different setups.

Do people actually say pronounce that phonetically? This is the first I've heard of it.
I think this was the funniest episode in a while. And that kissing eagle reminded me a bit of the Yello Dello.
The others in the series are worth watching as well: https://youtu.be/O2XOLoeBPEk
