The reason why clips of Shang Chi and the movie itself will be reminiscent of Jackie Chan movies is because the stunt coordinator, Brad Allan, was part of Jackie Chan’s stunt crew. He worked with JC since 1997. Sadly, he passed away on August 7th, with Shang Chi and the upcoming The King’s Man as his last two projects.

The prequels are still absolutely terrible, but I was excited for this show because Ewan was one of the, if not the, brightest spot of the PT and deserves a chance at scripts and direction touched by actual human hands.

Personally I think there’s one lane for this show they could explore. All you need to set it up is the right introduction:
