It's true what they say. Good fencing does make good neighbors.

I can feel it cuming in the air tonight, oh Lord!
That’s funny, because I think he’s very critical of Chinese cinema, or at least modern Chinese cinema. As for over-embellishing certain film-makers, I can’t say anything stood out to me as egregious. He’s usually pretty methodical and clear in his logic, and he always has a clear thesis that he builds on throughout…
I went through the same thing in the early 00's. Arguably, I’m still doing it.
Odd ASMR choice, but okay.
when he made contact with lucroy (who i thought would be on an episode of let’s remember some guys by now)
Yeah, points for trying to update Sleeping Beauty instead of just doing a paint-by-numbers remake, but I think they backed the wrong horse. Make Maleficent pure evil, have her working behind the scenes, manipulating everything, doing real Richard III/Game of Thrones shit. Then you end up rooting for her to succeed…
If you’re looking for another channel that talks about Asian (among others) cinema, I’d recommend Accented Cinema. The essays he makes are pretty good.
Damn Dude. I’m gonna need a stiff drink and a shower after starring this.
Yeah, I saw they had the Lenny Kravitz cover, but I’m not hearing it. Guess Who or bust.
Damn it.
There should be a short dash and a long dash.
This that good, low-level burn that makes me a little hot under the collar and embarrassed to be in public (and American).
A swashbuckling adventure where the group tries to find Troy, only to find he was the Pirate King all along? It’d be less about closure and more about celebration.
And then when they find him, it turns out that he was the Dread Pirate Roberts all along! Brilliant!
When I saw that, I immediately decided that Google trends are useless data. There’s no way Wall-E doesn’t have more love. People are probably googling the movies to see if they’re on streaming or something.
I’m partial to Mr. Sunday Movies’ summary, which is insane.
The last two seasons tended to lean more on comedy, so I can understand why that would turn people off. I like the last two because the writing’s still pretty clever, even if it has less character. I love that Rashomon episode set in the mall. And it introduced me to Stan Rogers.
Nah man, that was the Root.
Hard disagree. Yeah, Michael Dougherty clearly put more love and care into characterizing the monsters than the people, but I think the movie is better for it. It kinda sags in the middle, but that’s because we needed a scene of King Ghidorah just trashing DC.
