Gas vehicles cannot be submerged to the windows. There are too many electronics and sensors that don’t like water. Also, the intake is below window level.

Good news! About the only way to economically tune many of these newer Mercedes is with a piggy back tune. And those are untraceable once they have been removed.
This strikes me as a great upgrade for the person who enjoys cheap older Audis and BMWs.
This is the reason why insurance policies for super/hyper make sure to keep top level uninsured/underinsured coverage. As my lawyer friend always says, “You cannot get blood from a rock”. This lady likely has almost no net worth to speak of. Who knows what coverage she has, but it likely won’t be enough. That is at…
I highly doubt that Toyota was allowed to use the higher numbers that the Z4 was publishing as part of Toyota’s agreement with BMW. Using that as a basis, the higher than published numbers makes sense.
I was actually excited for a moment. I would totally get a 3 series wagon, but they only offer it stateside in the smaller 4 cylinder engine. How unfortunate this will not be coming here.
This also seems like they could offer a front window shade. This would allow for additional charging using a semi flexible solar panel and it would also help keep the interior of the vehicle cooler in very warm places.
This seems like the answer you get when a sub par limo conversion company cannot even sell their limo conversions any longer. They didn’t want to fix their build quality so it is just time to pivot to a new concept.
This is exactly my thoughts. I also wonder what the decline in listing will be now. At what point will it potentially not even be worth checking the listings any longer?
My addition to this debate would be a BMW 335i. The transmission shifts relatively well. Due to the bad rap of the N54 engine they sell for super cheap. I have one and love it. I have had issues, but nothing out of line with owning a performance vehicle. Best part is that you can get a 2008-2010 with a few miles on it…
I wouldn’t fly trans Atlantic in these seats. That said, I would sure as hell fly a short ~1 hour or less flight in these seats. Especially since the resulting lower costs would likely unlock new markets or markets that were cut from the roster due to cost cutting by the airlines.
This is exactly what I came to say. As a result, I awards a star for getting here first. People love to bitch and hate to pay more for anything. This seems to show up with this foolish and poorly articulated airfare debate frequently. I wouldn’t fly trans Atlantic in these seats. That said, I would sure as hell fly a…
These stories always remind me of the pseudo joke:
This could be in your future with a W123
I was going to throw out the vintage diesel Mercedes.
Technically, they opened the order book for the Model 3 in Q1 of 2016. They also just opened the order book for the Model Y.... Not that the math perfectly checks out on the original post, but your dates are also a bit iffy.
Why not just get a Panamera GTS with an extended warranty. I would take that any day over many of these vehicles
I thought that we were due for an all new chassis on this vehicle. Didn’t Ferrari previously only reuse the chassis once and not twice? The 360 and 430 come to mind.
Why not just swap the 200SX with an older Prius or better yet a older Volt if you have overnight charging access? If you spend about ~$125-150 a month or less it would be about a wash on the fuel/maintenance cost versus the GTI. Then just keep the GTI.
This is interesting. I have an 2018 E300 with the standard suspension. I recently rented a 2015 911 Turbo S for a few days. The part that I was most surprised about was that the Turbo S actually had a better ride than my E300. I struggled to wrap my head around it. The E300 sometimes suffers from hitting bumps and…
