Whoooa, Ignatiy!
Whoooa, Ignatiy!
Well, technically speaking, not *now* Run the Series. I did two of them last month!
So I guess no one is on weekend news wire duty anymore? Because Martin Mull deserves a obit, don’t you think?
Love this film so much. Bummed that its current 25th anniversary theatrical release never came to a theater near me, I imagine this would be so fun to watch on the big screen with an audience. I will note that Run Lola Run’s concept was quite heavily influenced by Kieslowski’s Blind Chance (1987).
I dunno, I think Scott Moe is less batshit crazy than Danielle Smith. He’s still a stinking Tory, but he’s a boring, square Tory.
You think his anti-vax stance alone would be enough to keep a HEALTH CARE foundation from booking him. The filthy content is just lagniappe.
Marginalizing Daisy Ridley is totally on brand for Disney.
It’s weird that Seinfeld couldn’t find someone to direct since seemingly every comedian was in the movie. David Wayne or Michael Showalter probably would have been able to do a good enough job.

Have you seen Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace?
The Florida Project is one of my favourite movies of the last few years, up there with the great Italian social-realist classics, but I was a bit disappointed by Red Rocket, mainly because I was sick of the main character after about 10 minutes (I have the same problem with Raging Bull.) Anora seems to by all account…
Red Rocket is fantastic, I wish it got more attention
Yeah, calling it fake is odd. I’ll just trust the Cannes film jury on this one. I hope it plays in my town. Like another commenter I’m disappointed the Megalopolis didn’t get any attention. Might be a season of surprises.
Fair enough. There’s so little here to judge by (both the trailer and the article), but I’m game.
“Anya Taylor-Joy is a talented actor but also very off-putting and almost inhuman.”
Great point, dipshit!
“I got a Community notification for this?”
I posted that Onion the first time they made that mistake:
Pretty sure that was members of the Alan Parsons Project (mostly Andrew Powell).
What about Goblin’s scores for Suspiria? Goblin also did soundtrack for European release of Romero’s “Zombi” (i.e., Dawn of the Dead as re-cut by Dario Argento). Or, hell, Thom Yorke’s score for Suspiria?
