Gwent. So much Gwent. Open beta is basically a different game than the closed beta was. Positioning and row decisions mean so much more. Also, every card has a 'premium' animated version, which is super fun as well.

There will be campaign, but it's not there yet. There are challenges you can take on to earn crafting materials and/or leader cards, but those are one-time only.
Talk about option dungeons….going into the optional parts of Vagrant Story with the wrong weapons was a recipe for disaster. I remember one room where I had to attack for 1 hp at a time, because RISK was at a max, and the weapons I had were all not suited for what I was facing.
Overclock + Evade Range Up = love.
Open beta is like an entirely different game. I'm happy my Queensguard are still viable, however.
I hope you went immediately back to the girl you found after you made your decision with the Cat Witcher, and escorted her to her aunt.
Thanks for reminding me I need to get back to my second time through the game so I can go after the DLC again.
Actually, if I think about, the TWO best side quests in Blood and Wine both do not have question marks, if I remember correctly.
From what I remember, it is pretty random, although I also think stronger opponents might have stronger words? Or maybe they were region-specific? It's been awhile.
It's the last weekend of closed beta for Gwent before open beta arrives next Wednesday (on PC, XB, AND PS4), and I've made the highest rank available for now, so I'm messing around will the more RNG-ish and silly cards for fun. Open beta is bringing a lot of changes from how the game plays now, so I thought it made…
That story will (hopefully) grow on you a lot more. It will then eat your soul for breakfast the second time through the game, which is not the tedious task it sounds like it would be.
The best side quest in Blood and Wine has no question mark.

Nice! Enjoy!
One day, I'm going to have to try to write something that isn't full of spoiler quotes….and of any decent quality to be considered a genius of the keyboard.
Damn, you're fast!
Also, speaking of buying things or kicking yourself later, I broke down and pre-ordered the Weiss….I mean, GRIMOIRE Weiss, music box with inedible salt and character cards available in the JP square-enix store, via a service to buy things from Japan. Not available until July.
DON'T MOVE! I'M ON MY WAY!
You'll get all the sword stabbing you want in the third competition; it will likely be five on one quickly enough.
I finished Route A in my NieR: Automata replay last night, so I'm sure I'll keep pushing through on that, primarily to gain levels for DLC, but also to look for nuance in the dialogue I missed the first time. 2B is much more nice than I remember her, haha. I do wish there was a way to change what weapons your AI…
