So just because I have read a few recaps of this episode now and this seems to be mentioned in none of them, am I insane or is there way more to that conversation with Gin and Toranaga than people seem to be noticing?

As a permanent grey I feel your pain. Just got off playing Alpha protocol after the release on GOG. So good, so many choices with consequences, and it is short enough you can do a new run pretty easily. Now that is a game that either needs a sequel or a spiritual successor. Someone needs to lobby Larian Studios maybe.

FFIV (II in the U.S.) is a great one to start with. Not as good as 6, 7, 8, or 10, but not as generic as the ones before. IV will give the newcomer a great story and characters to care about, while letting them build into the better games of the series, VI being the best!

Turner D. Century is fetch!

Marvel and Sony have all they need in Spidey’s extensive rogue’s gallery. Doom is a churl and a bounder. None approach the sublime, gentlemanly qualities of Turner D. Century.

She-Hulk’s writing was actually pretty brilliant.  You’ve got to be able to follow along with the meta-commentary taking place of course.  And also - you have to not be the target of the meta-commentary in the first place.

All taste is subjective of course.

In my view:

Punisher was fine, but not new or novel. The others you complain about being higher, many had on offer (at the very least) something most people hadn’t seen before.

She-Hulk, the early seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel and Agent Carter

I just came back from seeing this, and my two cents is it’s a much better movie than this review makes out. The three leads are fun and have great chemistry. It has a similar crazy space feel to the Guardians movies, but a less grimy aesthetic. It honestly could have been a bit longer to give some elements time to

I’m betting we get both as DLC’s. Neither are worth building a game around.

Por que no los dos?

I had the same surprising reaction in Forspoken (ya, that Forspoken). The fast travel is instant, and sometimes I’ll think I actually didn’t fastravel when I unpause.

This always feels like such a basic bitch take, since we’re talking about a massive budget AAA Marvel game, but I loved the first game so damn much. Hughes nails the joy and beauty of simply moving about the world, and while the story isn’t anything extraordinary, it nails the characters so well — the scene of Peter

I still go back to replaying Spiderman and Miles Morales. I’m doing another playthrough of SM now and I still feel like I can’t wait to get back to it.

Moral ambiguity is overrated.   You can have originality in strick moral stories.   And it isn’t like Star Wars hasn’t dabbled in that itself.  Like with Andor.

Good to know that despite Zaslav’s cuts HBO’s CEO of Dongs is still doing their damnedest.

Just going to say this so the cheap seats can hear it.

Cecil was my favorite protagonist of any of the stories; and I still think IV is the best game of the series in terms of everything. Story, music, and settings. The music especially between the crystal theme, the main theme, the moon music, whatever the name of the tune that starts with a few spaced out deep bass

This is my personal list (higher is better). A few caveats:
1) I’ve finished all of these except 15 Pocket Edition (which decided to just conk out on me one day, and that was that).
2) I never played actual 15, as I went from PS3 to Switch.
3) I only played 3 on mobile, so I recognise that having the Quick Save may have

FFVII has Ocarina of Time syndrome. The first 3D entry and also the first introduction to the franchise for a lot of people. So it has huge credit in the bank of nostalgia. Despite the fact they’re not as good as the games that came later on the same console. Majora’s Mask is better than OoT and FFIX is better than

I loved it, but it didn’t get truly fun until the latter half when you could actually build a good party and play to certain character’s strengths. The forced team ups early on really hurt it I think.
