You mean the tourney? You can continue the quest if you don't come in first in every event, but you won't be able to take on the last battle and win the tourney if you don't.

HoS is such a good ride; short-ish, but intense. It also has two of the most asshole-ish bosses in the game, if you're not ready for them. One is optional, at least.

I spent way too much time trying out combos in the Resistance Camp as well. Once you have two spears, equip in both heavy and light attack slots; a light-heavy-light-heavy (not sure on how many presses for each) unleashes this attack where you basically turn into an android version of a grilling fork. Just great to

'Buy some now, or kick yourself later!'

I just finished Route A of my second play last night (working on levels for the DLC challenges), and it's been strange how my feelings for characters have evolved, knowing what I know about the story. It's been strange, but still quite enjoyable.

Tomb Raider's is even worse, because you can activate it and it stays on, but you can't move. Basically mashing that button over and over and over.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

I concur on both of these points. Well said.

No need to apologize for anything, I think you've expressed a lot of what I was seeing in a fashion I was not able to, so cheers for that. Beautifully said about 9S; 2x potency, but -2x durability, haha. this fragile nature, I think, led me to that thought that the 2B/9S relationship was more familial or

I thought the hair dye might do that, nice!

In relation to acceptance of others, I found it interesting as to how 2B seems to become more accepting of more as time goes on, along with A2, seemingly due to their identical personalities. 9S, however, goes from cautious, to overly accepting, to not accepting anything by the end of the story.

Two have a say in how

I think the demo has a similar name (23540548504604161401064961465 or something like that)….the DLC has been interesting so far, I've only been able to take on the first fight at two of the locations, I'm about to reach the third soon.

Me too, friend-o.

Well, of course they are a bunch of dicks, they tried to wipe out humanity!

haha, that's great to hear.

1.1: What's great about that 9S scene is that 2B ends up killing him again: he uses her hand/arm, which is infected with the logic virus that pushes 9S over the edge in the ending.

As an aside, how good was the last 'android vs. robot' fight in the game? The way to integrate things at that moment was really exciting

In NieR's case, I'm pretty sure that's on purpose; Yoko Taro likes to fuck with the player. Upgrading weapons in the original NieR was excruciating.

I bought an open box Lenovo at Best Buy Easter weekend for $250 just to play after the PS4 technical beta. It was money well spent…..although having Gwent on a bigger screen would be nice as well.

Hackerman 9S to the rescue.
All day, every day.

I cannot believe I missed the 'saved your 2Booty' joke opportunity above.
