I actually dodge countered the big cat for the kill. It was ridiculous.

Triple Shot + True Shot + Finesse for the win. Fun watching three fall down, right in a row, and the XP just rolling in.
Still pushing through The Rise of the Tomb Raider; I think I'm entering the last-ish areas, so I've been travelling around, stocking up on supplies, upgrading what I can, picking off a couple of trophies (I NEVER want to swan dive again). It's been enjoyable as always. and I've enjoyed the tombs! Haven't had to look…
I'm very happy my alma mater has this:
I don't think he kills them, he just receives their blessing. From what I understand, the Astrals are just representations of the power of the stars/Crystal, so I'm not sure they can even be killed. More like eradicated, I think? But it also seems like power that can re-manifest at any time. So I wonder if the…
Also, just found this on the reddits, it's a nice spreadsheet of the hunts, with the requirements of their appearance:
Nothing says I love you like, "Woo-hoo, we're alive! Let's celebrate by eating something dead!"
Yeah, it's great. As long as you only reel when there's no vibration and you have the controller in the right direction, you should avoid tension wear.
Fishing is great; once you learn how to tangle with the big fish, it can be as tenuous as any standard battle in the game. Knowing when to reel is the key. What you want to do is…..
I don't think I'm that far as of yet, but that seems appropriate, haha.
The Fulgarian speaks!
Hence why I'm not using one of their battle armors, ha. They seem like okay people, though. I'm sure they would be cool with it.
I just hope you are good at listening. Geesh.
I feel like I've finally settled on the outfit made of animal skins with the sweet axe variant. Although I did just get a rifle, and there seems to be a ton of enemies about, so maybe it's time to switch to the outfit that allows me to sometimes shoot and not use ammo. Would be a lot easier if the game didn't allow…
The professor might not send you to a dungeon, I cannot remember. However, her final quest might be the most devious thing in the game.
I had two of them fly at me at the same time in Syria. I missed the pressure point on the floor, and only had whatever weapon you have in Syria (none)? It was not pretty.
I've only reached the Gulag, but I think greusome death scenes still show up, like when you fall onto a bunch of spikes or have them run into you.
Yes, I know you receive the recipe (A NEW RECIPEH!) upon Ignis reaching Level 10 in cooking, but I think you might also learn it by eating a meal much later on in the story.
Yes, there's a witcher sword you can find in the riddle zone, plus a cave of goodies. There's maps and videos online to show you where they are. There's more than enough time to get them all and complete the riddle; it helps to avoid combat whenever possible.
Yeah, I thought they were going to be a stopgap in between camps, but with 12 flasks full of them, it was a breeze.
