After spending a LOT of hours with Final Fantasy XV, I've moved into Rise of the Tomb Raider, which I'm enjoying a lot. I keep earning/buying cards, which I don't even know how to use yet, so that's fun. What slightly (and I mean very slightly) dismaying is that I have access to a ton of different outfits and weapon

Did you get the nice sword in the riddle zone?

I found the last two menace dungeons to be quite easy, once prepared. The loooooooooooooooooong one never really had many challenging enemies; once I learned that I could roll around enemies pushing the stick left or right while attacking + when I remembered that I could only link/blindside strike with non-Royal Arms

Would have been nice to have this before I was waaaaaay too over-leveled, haha.

What I basically learned was if someone was sending you to an optional dungeon for a quest, you were pretty much done with their quests.

Some places get additional hunts as time goes on, some do not (Galdin Quay, for example). I never figured out if it was by character level or story chapter, but I do know that hunts that you are not eligible to engage due to a low hunter level show up before you can complete them. Also, hunts do not disappear if you

Yes, that’s a great one, and The Night of Long Fangs is a great running track as well, ha.

I believe I only received three of the four endings in my plays through the game. I believe plays after completing it the first time start at an accelerated point in the story, so it's not as tedious. And side quests are not important in subsequent plays, save for any trophies desired.

After approximately 150 hours, I completed the main story of Final Fantasy XV last night. It's easily one of my favorites in the series. Not ashamed to admit there were a few tears when Prompto got a request to show all of his pictures one last time; and there may have been multiple viewings of them all, ha. And the

How many times do you plan on finishing NIER? From what I remember, there are four endings. The fourth is quite a shocker.

I was going to bring this up as well. Like FF XV, Blood and Wine has a soundtrack that is great to listen to outside of the game. I think there are 3 or 4 Blood and Wine tracks on my running playlist, ha.

I have my fourth play waiting for me to respec so I can finish the base game (all signs with Conductors of Magic fails here, unlike anywhere else, unfortunately), and then the expansions one more time.

Also, you can sell the weapons that can be upgraded at any time, even before the holiday pack stuff activates. For the amazing price of 1 gil. Suppose that's there in case someone wants to get rid of them for a challenge or something.

137 hours in, levels 78/76/77/77, and only in Chapter 10. I just love coming up with a new recipe. And going all Royal Arms now that I have a Megaphone/Good Chamberlain/Black Choker. Star of the Rogue long range! So fun.

This is the last day of work in 2016 for me, so it's about time for a two-week game explosion of sorts.

It's not going to drink itself. Enjoy.

Only Playstation disc I still own. I have nothing to play it on, however. What a great fucking game.

Paradox endings are a lot of fun, and there's a fun post-game battle as well. Noel is a pretty good character, and his theme is fucking haunting. And beautiful.

But the Shrukiens and the Scepter are a lot of fun. I also enjoy how the Blade of the Mystic shoots off some sort of magic attack before warp striking, ha.
