That’s honestly my favorite part of the lore.

Don’t forget that these were further seasoned by being left outside and even peed on.
Not to be pedantic, but both do both. They suck air in, compress it, and then blow it out.
No, superchargers suck, turbochargers blow.
Counterpoint: Turbos suck.
Or in 2018!
The entire passport system is so stupid and antiquated I can’t believe it exists in 2017. In our area there’s literally three places to get a passport (there was a forth that closed last year). All of the offices are basically in post offices and staffed only part time (or on call) by postal workers who seem to hate…
Get a cheap Econoline for 500$, spend the rest on a lift kit, tires and shove a V10 Triton in there.
So basically the same as the release of the Miata.
Spicy Take: Porsche Macan is the best Porsche for 98% of the population (and 100% of Jalopnik).
@Maha: I appreciate it! I miss the orange at times, but that’s not my call. She’ll go back to dark red as stated in my submission. I’m just tickled that I made the cover photo for the wrap-up article!
I meant video based. Jalopnik is in a separate category, IMO. I come here for articles and insight, and I go to Hoonigan for scumbaggery and tire smoke.
Ok, you’re up, NJ. Please go ahead and fix it, so I can stop waiting in line at a gas station with 16 pumps but one attendant on duty.
Hert smashing Shitcar gets me every time. This is hands down the best automotive content on the internet. Sorry Roadkill.

I hear you. My hate for automatics has faded from white-hot to Meh, whatever: everyone has different needs. My father even bought a ‘14 Subaru with a CVT after driving 3-pedals since 1960. The horror! But, his knees are 72 years old and he preferres to save them for hiking than pushing a clutch.
Don’t remind me. My ‘67S went from 175k to 150k. ugh. Only paid 7k for it though, so we’re still in the black.
FWIW, Subaru automatics STILL sap too much power. The Impreza to 60 is 8.4/9.0 seconds manual/CVT. The Forester is worse at 7.5/9.0! (Big part of the reason I bought a manual one.) It’s not as bad as the 80’s but most companies have gotten the gap minimal or even geared their AT’s to be quicker so you’d think…
UCI World Tour Women’s races started implementing Podium Boys a year or three back. I know, it’s cycling, so stay off my car-roads and keep your hippy bikes to yourself and you deserve to get run over blah blah /s but that’s almost kinda fair.
